Happy Wok — Restaurant in Town of Nassau

The first month this place opened, I stopped in to check out and try a few things. Yes, the fried rice wasn't doing what it needed to do. I wasn't impressed with the other stuff I bought either. I said I wasn't going back even though they are right down the street!!! I respect myself. I only spend my money on delicious food. So, my mind was set. Later on, some of my neighbors suggested that I give this place a second chance because they had great experiences. Reluctant to waste money, I went again today. I am happy and thankful to report that my egg drop soup was delicious; and both shrimp egg rolls and pork egg rolls were giving me official Chinese takeout vibes. My children gave them a thumbs up with the chicken and brocholi....and children are honest (sometimes brutally honest). The restaurant was very clean on both visits. The combo meals are $10 all day.... and it comes with a pork egg roll. You can't beat that!!! Yes, they do serve pork!!! Idk what that other reviewer was talking about. 😆 This restaurant is also fast.... Waited only 15min. Called my order in and picked it up. Unfortunately, they don't deliver and closed on Sunday. One day I was in Cumberland Farms and looked over to see a Chinese restaurant in the village of Nassau. I was so excited to see that. The clerk did not give a good review only bc she said it was different from where she usually gets Chinese. I was intrigued so I tried it, and I was glad I did. The first time I ordered the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. Very good filling meal. They give such good portions. The fried rice was different from what I am used to seeing. I'm used to vegetables in my fried rice. The dish was very good and sauced just right. The second time I ordered to beef lo mein, and it was perfect. They have space for in house dinning. Very cute and clean inside. Good fast service as well. They do not have pork products on their menu which is unusual. Overall I will come here again, and I am happy there is a Chinese...

So happy this little place opened up in Nassau! The general Tso’s chicken was delicious, well priced and great portion. One of the better general tso’s we’ve had! The hot and sour soup, egg rolls and spring rolls are also delicious! Additionally it was very clean inside and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

Adding on to my review from 3 months ago when I first tried this place - we have now tried the shrimp and beef and also garlic broccoli. We're going to now try everything on this menu because it has been fantastic every time. Run dont walk...
