I recently hosted an event at M&M Tap & Tavern for a group of 60 friends and family, and I cannot express how extraordinary the experience was! From start to finish, the staff, especially Linda, went above and beyond to ensure our gathering was nothing short of perfect.
Linda was simply phenomenal. Her attention to detail and thoroughness in executing our event was impressive. From our initial planning discussions to the day of the event, she was always available, addressing every question and concern with genuine care and professionalism. It felt like we were in the hands of someone who truly understood our vision and was committed to making it a reality.
On the day of the event, Linda orchestrated everything seamlessly. She ensured that our guests were greeted warmly and that drinks were flowing right from the start. The layout was just as we had discussed, with ample seating and a cozy atmosphere that encouraged mingling. Linda’s expertise in managing the flow of the event kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the time with our loved ones.
The food was incredible—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The menu had something for everyone, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about the quality and variety. Linda made sure that dietary restrictions were accommodated without a hitch, which we truly appreciated.
The bar area at M&M Tap & Tavern is an absolute blast! With a great selection of craft beers and signature cocktails, it quickly became a gathering point for everyone. The lively atmosphere made it easy for our guests to relax and socialize.
And let’s talk about the ax throwing—what an awesome and unique activity! It was a huge hit with our group, adding a fun, competitive edge to the event. Watching friends and family cheer each other on as they took their turns was a highlight of the night, and it definitely brought everyone closer together.
What really stood out was Linda's ability to anticipate our needs. She was everywhere at once, making sure drinks were topped off, food was replenished, and that every guest felt attended to. It was clear that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the success of each event.
In short, M&M Tap & Tavern is a gem, and Linda is its shining star. If you’re looking to host an event, I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Thanks to Linda and the fantastic team at M&M Tap & Tavern, our gathering was an unforgettable celebration that our family and friends will cherish for...
Read moreUpdate: The quality of the food had taken a serious downturn over the last year especially. Undercooked, borderline raw calzone dusted with a fair amount of oven char and burnt flour, with a side of cold saucd which made it's way straight to the trash when ordering to go. The cheese also tasted as though it had begun to turn, and had not been given a chance to fully melt before being removed from the oven and boxed as ready to serve. Based on some of the negative aspects of my previous experiences, I have to downgrade to two stars, and can firmly say I will never order from here again. Raw food makes people sick, and seems indicative of unsanitary practices occuring behind the kitchen doors. I happily drive an additional twenty minutes across the border to Massachusetts instead. Too bad, because it's a mere three minute drive from my house and I really used to turn to this place as a quick, close and decent dinner option. The prices trend on the high side, especially for sub par food.
Previous review for four stars:
Kudos to the newer, seemingly more limited menu. Though I've always had decent pizza and great wings here, my latest visit a couple weeks ago was highlighted by a seemingly better pie. The crust seemed less soggy and better formed than before. Based on a neighboring tables lengthy wait for entrees (pasta dishes), I'd really consider my other options before ordering. They had to have been waiting an hour or so for their food, whereas ours came out in less than 20-30 from ordering. The staff offered to comp drinks, but all they'd had was soda, so the owner came out and comped their entire meals which was a great gesture. I'm just not sure this would be the place I'd order a large meal. Keep it simple and split some pizzas, get the wings twice cooked as long as they're not crazy busy, and have a few beers, preferably after a long days work or hitting the slopes. You'll be glad the place is...
Read moreI am an Italian - American transplant from the greater NYC area who loves living in the Berkshires. That said, my wife and I are frustrated by the lack of authentic southern Italian cuisine and Neapolitan - style pizza in our area.
As a result, we invested in an exterior wood - burning pizza oven to make our own pies from scratch three out of the four seasons. As a result, it is only during the winter months that we continue to search for a nearby pizzeria to satisfy our cravings.
After reading mostly positive reviews about M&M Tavern, we decided to give their wood-fired pizza a try. Our take-out order was placed for the most basic of offerings - a large cheese pie well done. Sadly, the results of this simple request were disappointing.
The good news: the pizza had a nicely charred (not burned) outer edge with the right level of smoke flavor.
The bad news: the taste and texture of the dough wasn't consistent with a freshly-made product but rather smacked of previously made, frozen dough. The underside of the pie was soggy and under-cooked; there was too much cheese in relation to the rest of the pie's components; and garlic overwhelmed the wonderful aroma/taste of the San Marzano tomatoes.
In addition to the above, the pizza was really small for a "large" size" and the overall product wasn't worth anywhere near the $15.00 price.
On another note, I had to fight my way through the bar crowd to get to the counter where my take-out pizza was waiting. Not one of the restaurant staff made a proactive effort to serve me although a number of them were standing around and socializing with one another other. I finally had to ask one of the waitresses for help - and after an additional delay, I walked over to the pizza counter to personally retrieve my pie.
All in all, not a...
