Whiskey Ally’s — Restaurant in Town of Newburgh

I was told to give this place a shot so I did and came in after work. Chill atmosphere upon walking in but I ended up just ordering the rodeo burger to go. Sat down and had a couple beers while I waited. Now, I don't know if someone was punking me or that's just the way it comes but who puts a burger on an untoasted english muffin???? One bite and I threw it out. Older bartender also seemed to have a really bad attitude when I was sitting there.. not sure what's going on in her personal life but she shouldn't be behind the bar if she's gonna take it out on her customers... if you hate your job so much maybe find a new one. Whiskey Ally’s is….a vibe. Upon driving up, we realized Ally’s is a biker bar. Fine. We aren’t so delicate that we can’t eat at a biker bar. We heard lewd comments the second we walked in, again, fine, we aren’t so innocent that we can’t stand a few dirty comments. We ordered and the staff was very kind and helpful. Then we noticed the right wing propaganda all around and Newsmax playing on the television. We switched our order to take away. Ultimately, the food was exceptional for a place with these vibes. I parked at pilot for the day and decided to make the walk over and I’m glad I did.

I haven’t had .50 wings (on Wednesday)in 15-20 years, it’s a great little off the beaten path bar.

Right off 17 behind the gas station. Lots of parking.

At 5 pm on a Wednesday you would think it was Friday! The place was busy and everyone was having a good time.

This is definitely a place I would come back to.

There’s a sign advertising live music on Friday and Saturday.
