Cafora's Pizza Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Newfane

Have been to Caforas several times for dine in and take out. Their pizza is one of my favorites. Today however I experienced some of the worst service I have ever had anywhere. Chloe was our waitress and was less than on top of things. My husband asked for a refill on his iced tea and was given just more tea apparently the iced part does not come with refills. She took more than another 25 minutes to enter the room we were seated in and then completely ignored us not even coming over to see if we needed anything until I requested her attention for a refill. At that point we were told that our food would be right out. 20 minutes later after we expressed our frustration she came out with our food and it was cold and the Alfredo sauce had a crust on it like it had been sitting for awhile. When I said something to her she blamed the kitchen for being backed up but the people sitting next to us with an arrival 30 minutes after us were already eating their meals. They had a different waitress... go figure. All in all we were there for more than an hour and half and we could not even eat our meals because we were so frustrated at that point in time. There were only 2 other tables occupied when we initially arrived at 3:30 on a Sunday to get ahead of any dinner rush... well that did not work out in our favor. Their ponzones are filling and delicious! Pizzas are full of flavor! Wings are finger lickin' good! Haven't been disappointed so far. There truely is a reason it's a local favorite! ... EDIT ... Since writing this review (about a year ago?), we had returned several times. Each time the service was lower than desired. Messed up orders two seperate occasions. At least twice they didn't have what we ordered, but weren't told until pick up. Had dined in, thinking it was due to pick up that the service was so bad, not the case. It was messy and loud. There were less than favorable customers drunk and rude next to us and the waitress was laughing right along. No bread available to go with dinner. Took forever to get drinks. Bad experience. Because we loved the ponzones so much, we tried again. Nope. Terrible again. Such a disappointment that we have decided to change this review. Really didn't want to do this. Final straw was the missing wings from another order (yup, tried AGAIN to not hate this place). Unable to drive down and go get them, and didn't get a refund. What a bummer. We will...

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I went to dinner with my family, we ordered an appetizer and 4 meals- 2 of them came with salads. After a long wait for the food and sitting there watching it sit on the counter for at least 15 minutes, only two of the meals came. These meals came and we had yet to receive the appetizer or the salads. The other two were meals were MIA. The meals that came we’re finished being eaten before the other two were even brought to us. Our server Melissa told us that it was because the other meals took longer to make and she didn’t know why we didn’t receive the salad or appetizer. She then disappeared mid conversation and never came back. Another server came up to us, and unapologetically told us that the owner doesn’t care about his customers and experiences, but she would call him to see if they can discount anything. She comes back after calling the owner and says that she would take the appetizer and salads off of the bill, both of which we never received.
