Guy's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Newstead

I used to love Guys subs my whole life however they have become disconnected from their customers, needlessly shortened their hours of operation and never went back to normal hours of operation which completely disrespects an entire group of loyal long term customers who work late shifts and are not done working until 8pm when Guy's is already closing. Guy's subs as well as most of Akron's restaurants have still not caught up with reality and the truth about the immorality of eating sentient life - you will see when Christspiracy comes out - elitist royalty and dictators added lies to bibles about eating senting life so that they could profit while the vast majority of royals remained Vegetarian. This sub place is maybe the best kept secret in WNY. I'm pretty much a weekly customer at this point and we get it for lunch on Fridays most of the time. I'm not sure how they do it but a simple turkey cheddar sub here has no much more flavor than anywhere else.

Only room for improvement is the online ordering system doesn't track stock of items, somewhat frequently they will not have a side available and they just refund you in cash or put you on the spot to ask what you want instead. I would prefer to just get refunded on my original payment method instead of getting cash and a bunch...

I love this place. They have the best selection in town. Sometimes I feel bad for not giving the other shops a chance, but these guys nailed it. Their menu is fully loaded. Salads, subs, dinners, quick bites.. the nice elder lady is always sweet as can be. They are fast enough to get your food on lunch break, but I suggest calling ahead so that your order is ready.
