You go here for the view and atmosphere…that’s it. The view of LP is really wonderful. The room and deck are pure ADK. But…
Think of a large single room schoolhouse…it’s a lot of families, with small children and a lot of chicken fingers and fries. The room is incredibly loud as a result and takes away from the atmosphere. It’s better to sit on the deck if you can.
There were only two true main entrees, while the rest of the menu is a combination of appetizers or snack bar type foods, but at much higher prices.
I had the Kobe burger which was very big and very tasty. My waiter didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked and I forgot to tell him. It came out medium rare which was fine.
The fries were nice and crispy but came pre-seasoned with pepper and salt. Hold the pepper next time.
My partner had the salmon which was a small portion. She felt it was slightly undercooked, but better than dried. Her accompanying vegetables were semi raw.

Read moreWe had ate here years ago and our experience was decent. Beautiful view, decent food. However, we came back this past weekend and it was extremely disappointing. We ordered a burger and flatbread. The flatbread was like a giant burned cracker and pretty sure it did not have any chicken on it which was probably a blessing in disguise considering my husband became ill after eating his burger. As we were leaving we passed by the bar area and there was a young guy chewing on his fingernail/finger. It was a good few minutes with his hands all in his mouth. Disgusting. If I saw that as soon I walked in, I would have walked...
