Sadudee Thai Food is a quaint restaurant, small yet comfortable. It has a good view of 787 & Broadway. It's design is simplistic, but in a pleasing way. The service was good, with our waiter/ host always stopping by to refill our glasses with water. I started off with the Crispy Calamari, which was excellent! Some of the best darn calamari I've ever had! It consisted of just the body of the squid, no tentacles. It's sweet and spicy dip was a perfect pairing. Then I had the Garlic Entree with the Seafood Combination, sadly I was much less impressed with this dish. While the garlic paired well with the seafood, it clashed with the salad & cilantro bedding. Since around 50% of that dish was the bed of greens, I ended up not eating half of it. All of my party's opinions seemed to coincide with my own, as they all love with appetizers and didn't really enjoy their entrees. We skipped out on dessert, though they did seem to have a few interesting selections like fried banana, fried ice cream, and mango sticky rice. While I had at first thought the meal to have been inexpensive seeing the prices, the bill came out to be roughly $105.00 for a party of five. Not the worst bill possible for a party of five for sure, but still it wasn't anything great. Though there was some mix up about the bill, as the host thought we were two different group and would want two different receipts. Not cool, you need to ask about that kind of thing beforehand; never assume. One final thing of note, no free refills on anything besides water as all they serve is...
Read moreBEST THAI FOOD!!! I am a Sadudee regular! Their food is absolutely delicious and their yellow curry is my number one comfort food! Every friend I’ve suggested this restaurant to or invited out to dinner has loved it! Beyond the amazing yellow curry, all of their curries are delicious! I have tried just about every one on the menu, the red, panang, and green curries are always good! The appetizers are also amazing! The crusty crab, chicken satay, and basil rolls are my favorites! My boyfriend also likes their Thai wings and sadudee chicken! Their Tom kha soup is also delicious and great for a cold day. For drinks, their butterfly pea tea has been my current favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of their teas. I enjoy ordering takeout on the sadudee app, which is super easy to use and navigate! I also enjoy dining in as the calm atmosphere is great for an intimate dinner or larger gatherings too. I have had my anniversary dinner here as well as many large parties of friends and they always accommodate us and make our experience joyful and effortless! I can’t rave enough about Sadudee! The owner breathes so much life into the atmosphere of the restaurant and puts so much love in the food! It’s the best Thai...
Read moreSo delicious. We travel through and have eaten here three times so far, every time delicious. Has drinks both with alcohol and without, lovely orchids in the ones we chose one night. I had a nice butterfly Pea tea, beautiful color, too. Asked for extra lemon, as I preferred, and it gave it more color change, too, deep blue with some purple. My husband especially likes their curries, last time a green curry with pork, and has had tofu with that and was very happy, spice levels to choose 1-5, he got a 3 last time and added a little of their dry chili blend. I had a ground chicken with peppers, mushrooms, onions, and beans, so good. Dumplings with a curry dip were a lovely app, we also had on another trip a duck spring roll, very crisp and hot with a dipping sauce. Dessert we like mango with sticky rice and coconut cream, and they dyed the rice with butterfly Pea tea a lovely shade of blue! First time I had it that way, very yummy and the yellow against the blue was so pretty. I wish they were near us at home, too! The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive. The interior was very nice and comfortable, parking simple, I would make a detour just to go...
