Wow! What a horrible experience tonight. I havenât been to this place in years I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in to grab a few things. I first went over to the deli and a very pleasant gentleman waited on me, no issues there. And then a young lady Helped me with some thing else. When I brought everything up to the register, the woman had such a nasty look on her face and did not acknowledge my presence or greet me in any manner. She just began to ring up the items. It was a very uncomfortable transaction as I am used to pretty good customer service wherever I go. I then said, you know you can greet the customers and she began to mumble under her breath. Since the whole thing was very uneasy I asked for the manager. I wanted to know if they agreed with the lack of customer service. The manager came over very defensive and got very nasty when I asked him that question. He was unhelpful and rude and honestly seem like he could care less. Definitely not a good projection of the business. I then asked him to return some of the items that werenât essential. I didnât want to give them all of my hard earned money. I figured the prepared deli foods were the ones that I would purchase since I didnât want them to go to waste. The other items I told them to take back. He freaked out and told the woman to just return my whole order ($85.00) and told me that I couldnât purchase the things back. I was quite shocked. The woman at the register told me why donât you look at the prices next time. I donât believe sheâs making a stellar salary there so Iâm sure she understands people have to be mindful of what they spend. As for the manager he was rude and incompetent I donât know if he is the owner or just called himself the manager. In any event I will never be back there and I will definitely share my experience with family and friends here on Long Island absolutely disgusting treatment. They should both take a lesson from the guy who works at the deli and the girl who works at the bakery maybe they can teach them a thing or two about customer service and how to...

Itâs a well-oiled machineâfast, friendly, and packed with variety. Whether youâre stopping in for a meal or to stock up for the week, itâs got something for everyone.
The food selection is incredible. Youâll find: ⢠A full gourmet deli with fresh-carved turkey, grilled chicken, eggplant parm, brisket, and more. ⢠A hot food bar with everything from roasted veggies and pasta dishes to Asian-inspired stir-fries and comforting home-style options like meatloaf or mashed potatoes. ⢠A massive cold salad stationâbuild-your-own or pre-made classics like Caesar, Mediterranean, quinoa, or beet salads. ⢠Their thin crust pizza is surprisingly excellentâcrispy, flavorful, and available by the slice or pie. ⢠Great sandwiches and wraps, made fresh and generously portioned. ⢠A full bakery and coffee bar with delicious pastries, cookies, muffins, and both hot and iced coffee options that actually taste like real coffee (not watered down).
One of my favorite things? They carry Dubai chocolateâyes, the real deal. Youâll find premium imported chocolate bars and beautifully wrapped gifts, making it a perfect stop for a treat or a last-minute gift. That kind of upscale specialty item is exactly what sets them apart.
The vibe inside is busy but upbeat. The place is always packed, especially during lunch and dinner rush. The staff keeps the lines moving quickly, but you really do need to know what you wantâthis isnât the place to stand around undecided while everyone else is on a mission.
The parking lot is big, but even that fills up fast. Somehow, though, they keep it running smoothly. Everyone from the cashiers to the kitchen crew is friendly and efficient, and thereâs a genuine sense of community.

Bottom line: Itâs busy, itâs bustling, and itâs absolutely worth it. From hot meals and fresh salads to specialty chocolates like the Dubai bars, Kitchen Kabaret brings the deli experience to a...
Read moreThis place used to have better food. It seems that theyâre going heavy on the salt and using more processed ingredients. But they open early in the morning and the Grab & Go section is usually readily stocked with food. There are plenty of people working there, most being friendly. Not much in the way of sliced fruit and their salads do not come with a dressing. They do not excel in salads if you order from the counter mainly because their dressing comes out of a bottle and itâs just awful.
As mentioned above, the servers are mostly friendly, but fair warning here. Stay away from the smoothies/açaĂ bowl area. There must be something in the air in that part of the shop. The two who work there in the morning could not be more unfriendly.God forbid they should smile and say âgood morning â. What a couple of scary meanies, the girl especially. I attempted once to get her attention and she just doesnât even make eye contact. Then I asked one of the other ladies at the register for help and she couldnât get the witchâs attention either. I put in a complaint but I...
