I have eaten an ungodly amount of Chinese food across many cities and states and I have never, ever, found anything that comes even remotely close to China House's General Tsos chicken. Everywhere else it tastes the same, but China House is truly in a league of it's own. It is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, not too spicy, and a very (un)healthy portion. Also, do yourself a favor and try their Fried Dumplings. Thank me later. And finally to everyone here lying about finding cockroaches and this and that... It's 2022. Take a picture with your phone and prove it instead of trying to sabotage a business that's been around for decades.

First of all I am so glad that NB got another choice in takeout. This place is good and comparable in price to the other Chinese food establishments in Chenango County. They make the food fast and serve it hot. The only complaint I have is there are not enough vegetarian options. The lunch menu is great. It has great choices and lots of food for a good price. My daughter and I can split a lunch and still feel full.

5/5 Stars: A Game-Changing Chinese Dining Experience!

I'm still reeling from the most incredible Chinese meal I've ever had the pleasure of devouring! This hidden gem has left me speechless and craving for more.

As a self-proclaimed Chinese food connoisseur, I've had the privilege of savoring dishes from multiple restaurants across various states. But none, and I mean NONE, have come close to the exceptional quality and flavor of this establishment.

Every dish that arrived at our table was piping hot, freshly made to order, and bursting with flavor. The aromas wafting from the kitchen were intoxicating, and the presentation was visually stunning.

The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured our every need was met. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with family or friends.

What sets this restaurant apart is the evident care and dedication that goes into crafting each dish. You can taste the love and passion in every bite, and it's clear that the chefs are masters of their craft.

If you're a Chinese food enthusiast like myself, or just looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, look no further! This restaurant is an absolute must-visit, and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Rating Breakdown:

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Value: 5/5

Will I return? Absolutely, and with great enthusiasm!

Recommendation: Don't miss this incredible Chinese restaurant! Book your table now and get ready for a culinary adventure that will leave you...

My mom brought home takeout for dinner, which isn’t something she doesn't often but she knows I like chinese food so I was happy. She brought pork, sweet and sour sauce and brown rice. I was eating the pork with the sweet and sour sauce when I noticed the meat was brown. I wasn’t sure if this was normal or not so I did a quick google search. I’m not sure if this is completely true or not (so take this with a grain of salt) but it said brown meat is usually rotten. And well.. I’m not always the smartest, and it tasted fine so I kept eating it. I was almost done with it when I bit into a piece, and the meat felt almost spiky? I don’t really know how to describe it but the texture was terrible and I’ve never eaten meat that felt like that. But wait, that’s not even the bad part. I spit out the piece of pork, and was about to eat the rice. So I look down, and to my utter shock, THERE WAS A COOKED MAGGOT IN MY RICE. I then proceeded to run to the bathroom and dry heave and spit out what was in my teeth for ten minutes. I will never look at rice the same again smh. Do...
