Tonight was the third time we have had an AWFUL experience here! So now it is 3 Strikes, You're OUT!! We will NOT be returning. First thing when we get there, seated with menus. Is a bit crowded but the crowd is thinning out REAL fast. Takes 11 minutes for our waitress to just come over to get our drink order. 12 minutes later she brings our drinks, 3/4 of the crowd has left already. Takes our order. 20 minutes later she comes back and says she had to get on the kitchen for our food but does NOT ask to refill drinks. Brings husband's soup and says hate to wait for them to heat it up they ran out and was going to send COLD soup. We had to TELL her to refill drinks. 10 minutes later she brings son and my ribs, she could not remember who ordered what!! We had NO eating utensil's, waited for 5 minutes then had to HUNT her down just to get forks! 5 minutes later she finally brings out daughter and husband's food. My ribs, RAW in the center, my baked potato totally disgusting!! Tasted like it was cooked then put in the refrigerator and then just heated up again!! I took 1 bite and spit it out! Husband's shrimp AND scallops UNDER COOKED. Daughter asked for no coleslaw, no lettuce and no tomato for her burger BUT she did want pickle and mayo What she did NOT want was brought and what she wanted was NOT there! Son never even got his carrots. Waitress did NOT check on us, she did not ask if we needed anything we had to get stuff off other tables! NOT a good dining...

I loved bills diner and have taken my family here many times! It's now Nates diner. My family and I have gone a couple times since they took over. The food is basically the same however it's ridiculous that if I buy a burger that comes with chips I can't swap out the chips for fries... I have had good food and food that is way too overcooked. I have had good deserts and I have had desert that is hard or stale tasting. I feel like at this point Nates Diner is a hit or miss sometimes you get great food and sometimes it's dried out, overcooked, burnt, etc.. However the waitresses are super friendly and they are always on their toes to ask if you need anything else, refill your drinks, etc.. they do however air out a lot of personal things while idle with eachother. The atmosphere isn't there it's exactly the same set up bills had which is for many many people to sit and eat I feel like if they painted, spruced it up, and made it cozy it would be a better atmosphere for a diner. They also really need to work on the food,...

I am relating my experience at Bill.s Diner during the covid period. It isn't much different experiences I've had previously, except for the amount of seating.

This is a typical upstate NY diner, perhaps better than most. It has lots of parking and clean bathrooms. The wait staff is attractive and friendly. To be fair, I've only had breakfast and lunch here, mostly breakfast.

The food is pretty good. They are always checking to see if you need more coffee. My response to those with higher expectations, I just don't get your perceptions.

If I have any criticism, it would be regarding covid precautions. It would be better to serve salt, pepper, ketchup and the like in individual one use packages. That being said, the place was practicing safe measures. I would eat...

We decided to go here because they were one of the only places open on labor day. Not really our first choice but ended up having a decent experience. There are a lot of reviews on here that say it's hectic and that everyone is running around when it's not that busy. It seemed to me like sense of urgency which is a good thing. Not a lot of restaurants have that. Especially in a small town. The food was good, the portions were large, and the service was on point. I left feeling full and satisfied. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The place was busy and there was a small wait but no big deal.

I come here every two or three weeks for breakfast. Generally service is good. Prices are fair. I usually get an omelet with English muffin. I’m generally happy with my meal. If I were to make a couple recommendations, it would be that the omelet should be about 25% larger. Also, it appears the diner does not offer Wi-Fi service. I’d highly recommend offering Wi-Fi to your customers.

We definitely liked our visit. Our server was polite, funny, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Our food was great and came out quickly. The restaurant was clean. The coffee kept coming. We ordered 3 meals and 3 sides. Our bill was $43. The place was full of locals...greeting each other and talking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.
