Angela’s — Restaurant in Town of Norwich

My wife and I were searching for somewhere new, at least new to us, to eat. She had heard of this place near Aldiz and suggested we try it. The majority of italian eateries are all the same, offering the same faire but with no flair. Angela's is remarkably different. Offering staples you would see in Italian-American cuisine and then also providing an ever changing specials menu! Each day different than the last and each meal showcasing a different piece of Angela and her crew's passion. The food was divine, myself having the Tortellini Alfredo which I added chicken to. My wife had the coconut shrimp with this excellent marmalade dip. Our appetizer was the best fried ravioli that we've ever had! I cannot recommend this place enough. Recently while in town visiting my family I had the opportunity to share a couple of Angela's pies with them.( They live local and are regulars) Excellent pizza! Great service,fresh,delicious toppings. The foundational ingredients of crust and sauce were great, that is what really makes an outstanding pizza.Sharing pizza with my family is now among my fond memories, we live far apart, time together and little things matter....

Definitely a big disappointment, I bought the chicken wing pizza with hot sauce and bleu cheese and I also ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and 10 hot wings. $70 later the chicken on my Wing pizza was marinated chicken ( not in the description on the menu)and does not go well with hot sauce and bleu cheese.
