O'Grady's Castle — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

I was really looking forward to having 2 great establishments in Pearl River (The Saloon & Luigi O'Gradys) get together and FINALLY make the restaurant at the Blue Hill golf course a success. Unfortunately that's not happened. Luigi O'Gradys deli has been known for their great packed hero sandwiches at a decent price so one would think that those same sandwiches would be on the menu at the golf course. The Italian combo at the golf course is 13 dollars and it comes with potato chips. The sandwich barely had any meat on it unlike the hero's made in the deli. Total rip off ! Every other selection in the restaurant such as a chicken sandwich or a wrap comes alone at a high price. French fries are 3 dollars extra on every selection, if u want cheese on your burger, cough up a buck extra ! Very disappointing ! I realize that prices are higher with this economy but I go to many restaurants and I've never seen French fries or cheese as an added expense with a lunch selection. there are other restaurants close by that we will go to after golf. The prices there are totally out...

We went here for the first time because they had a Beef Wellington special that my lady really wanted. Initially we couldn't find the entrance so we walked all around and finally found the bar dining area. The place was nice but had a more of a sports bar feeling than a sit down restaurant feeling. The bartender was our waiter and was great! Excellent service... tho there weren't many people in the place. We got the Welly and the French onion burger. She was asked a temp and said Med Rare. I ordered the burger Med. Hers came Medium and mine Med well. Flavors were good but the burger wasn't very warm. Her wine was good and my Black Velvet Pint was good too. Not sure we'd go back for specials as the Welly was $38 but maybe to try some other things on the menu now that we know what...

We had our high school reunion at the Castle last night (9/13/2025). What a great night we had! Michelle was extremely helpful in guiding us on the menu and the space for our event. Debbie was a great host, Sarah a great server, and Joe an outstanding bartender in the Speakeasy bar. The second floor layout was perfect for our group of 85, with plenty of space to mingle, sit and eat, or dance. It was very comfortable with the DJ and photo booth in their places of the room. They were extremely accommodating and willing to stay open for us for as long as our party wanted to go on. I highly recommend this venue and staff for any event you plan.
