TLDR: try the duck salad, pad thai, tom yum, mango sticky rice

This family owned restaurant has been around since 2008! The Thai family that runs Thai Garden is so warm and welcoming. As I walked in on a cold winter day, it felt like entering a cozy, warm oasis with beautiful decor. It’s perfect for a cute casual date, a group dinner, or take out!

I’m a big fan of the pad Thai, probably one of the most popular Thai dishes in America. I get pad Thai with fried tofu (and add extra squeezes of lime and chili flakes). The fried tofu is cooked perfectly— crispy and hot outside and soft on the inside. It would convert any tofu hater to like tofu! Their tom yum soup is great and they also added another menu option to get tom yum noodle soup. The texture of the rice noodles was perfectly al dente and helped soak up the soupy flavors. The duck salad is a unique dish that I would recommend trying — crispy duck pieces mixed with cashews, red onion, and other vegetables in a sweet, tangy, mildly spicy sauce. My kind of salad! The pad kee mao (drunken noodles) was different than I’ve had at other places— here it was more emphasis on the spicy flavors and didn’t have brown sauce. We tried the mango sticky rice, fried bananas, and deep fried ice cream which were all good! This is a great spot for vegetarians (I think I like the tofu even better than the chicken!).

They are also a great takeout spot! You can tell that people picking up their food orders were regulars and happy to see the staff who have been working there for many years. I’m grateful this restaurant has been a place for the local community to eat Thai food and keep coming back...

So this has become a weekly must do for me. The food is amazing here as is the service. Quite simply the best Thai food in Rockland.

Update :Last time I had food from here….. we were in the middle of covid. It’s taken a while but I have finally dined in here. The place is superb. The food is excellent as is the service. No question this will become a regular spot for me. Totally recommend!

Hadn’t had great Thai food for ages but had heard great things about THAI Garden so decided to order takeout on Sunday afternoon.

The food is delicious……the spring rolls, and red curry was divine.

It’s curb side pick-up only here……they will come to the car and do everything. Will definitely plan on visiting the restaurant when the world returns to some sort of normal.

The menu is extensive, and the food really is excellent. I highly...

Super easy covid 19 pick up! These guys always have delicious food and taking it home doesn't change that! I called, placed my order over the phone, paid with card over the phone, put tip on the card, drove to the business, called them to let them know I was here. I asked them to please leave my order on the bench outside and I would get it myself when they went back in, to minimize exposure to me and interaction (I'm a nurse). I can see through the window, and they all properly are wearing masks inside as well as when they bring other customers food to their cars, even the chef came out the side with a mask on properly! Great service! great food! feel very safe ordering take out from them. Left a cash tip too in their mail box. They are amazing! Definitely get yourself a Thai ice tea for a summer...

I live in Manhattan to some very good thai restaraunts and frequent Thailand where the food is out of this world. The drunken noodles dish i purchased from Thai Garden was a hard 1 out of 10 it was flavorless except for the litte bit of sacy noodles on the bottom and that didnt taste like any drunken noodles sauce ive had. I also asked him to exclude the cooked carrots and add broccoli and bok choi in it and id pay whatever extra was required. He said they dont have bok choi and it woukd include string beans. When i got it was full of carrots , zuccini and green beans. Yuk.
