Bev's is an institution! As a SUNY Oswego graduate, going back to Bev's when I took my neice for move in brought back great memories of fun times! The ice cream has always been delicious and the setting can't be beat. This time, I had the pineapple Dole Whip - so refreshing on a hot day! Service is friendly and leaving a tip was energetically appreciated. The prices are so reasonable, it is easy to be generous with tips. I'm betting students work there since it is less than a half mile from campus (depending on where you are, but from Cayuga/Oneida/Seneca/Onondaga). Beware of seagulls! And bring a camera for pics in the oversized chair, the lake and the spectacular...

One of my absolute favorite places to grab an ice cream cone after a good meal at Rudy's. Watch the sun set or go for a little walk by the water. Great views. Good tasting ice cream but expect to wait in line. There will be a lot of people in line no matter what day or time but that is the experience of Bev's. Waiting in line deciding what kind of ice cream you want. The twists are so good. I especially love the mint twist, pumpkin pie, and other limited flavors. They are unique and delicious.
