I've been a server here for almost 10yrs but with fargnoli family best owners ever I worked for. But unfortunately it changed hands and unfortunately the new owners do not know a thing in my opinion. I've been serving for over 18yrs and I've seen alot these new owners like to fire ppl through email text not face to face which I think is really sleazy in my opinion. Now im pretty sure I've been being pushed out for the last 2 month got stripped of my head server position with out a warning which is fine for me I got that position from fargnolis but how they did it was just wrong saying I didnt do my job and servers were scared of me lol. They have been using me from the start pretty much bc I know everything about that place and also i feel new owners dont care about staff or customer also.in my opinion how they go about saying theybwere nkt going to fire any staff not change menus they have they jacked the prices i think pretty high lowered there portions drastically and the prime rib and auju in my opinion just isnt the same anymore they have changed so much very fast we depend on bartenders to make our drinks which really sux it was fine before we got a our drinks quick one time a customer waited al.ost 15min to get drinks bc bartender was busy and owners just says she is busy give her minute what chatting up her customers u as a owner should have helped but didnt. Anyway as for the kitchen they have a great staff really good head chef the food comes out amazing unfortunately it does take awhile to get as for service the waitresses r great just depends on who u get really and how busy it is but I will say dont change a business when nothing was wrong with it in the first place a business that been there for over 30+ yrs and...
Read moreJust ate here for the first time with family. The atmosphere was very approachable and casual, we were greeted and told we could seat ourselves when we entered. There's a bar side and a "dining room" in the restaurant, and we decided to sit in a booth on the bar side because we thought it was a little cozier and actually quieter than the dining room. After we sat down, a waitress was right with us to bring water, and came back quickly to get our drink orders. She was friendly and consistently there when we needed something but not over-attentive. I started with their house Blackberry Sangria (red wine base). It was a lot sweeter than I was expecting (and went down super easy as a result) but very tasty. They also had a Peach Sangria with white wine, which my parents ordered and I tasted, and this was equally good. Then I got my salad and breadsticks appetizer. The breadsticks were really nice - they were like a homemade version of an Olive Garden breadstick. I loved their Italian dressing too, it was very vinegar-y. I had the Lobster Ravioli for my entree. I really liked the unique touch of the seafood cream sauce instead of a plain white sauce, and the filling was delicious. For dessert, I had the Tiramisu, and had a taste of the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake and Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake that my parents ordered. The cake was a little crumbly but still good, and otherwise everything was lovely. The cheesecake might've been my favourite for the texture which was like heaven for the one bite that I had. The portions were really generous (my mom and I had leftovers), and the prices are great for how much we got and how...
Read moreI'm extremely disappointed in my experience at this restaurant... We decide to go here on a first date (exciting right?!) he makes a reservation for 6:15 thinking it could be/get busy. As soon as we get there we are put at a table which is great and I like the ambiance it has a nice family feel... As we're waiting for our waitress we of course start talking and both don't notice that it's been awhile without someone getting our drink order... when the waitress gets to the table she apologized for the wait and got our drink order and food order at the same time and we continue to talk and and she pretty quickly brings the salad and drinks for us... time is going by quickly and then we notice people around us getting sat down and having their food brought out as we are still waiting. About an hour goes by and the waitress brings us a $5 voucher for our wait... another half hour goes by and we still have no food while people around us are getting their food with no delay... we finally ask the waitress to bring it to go because after an hour and a half we were ready to leave and he had a son he needed to pick up. Handed a $50 tab and paid for it all before we get any of this food... We ordered lasagna and chicken parmigiana... I've never experienced this at a restaurant and can't imagine why this would ever be acceptable. Sorry for your hour and a half wait...
