This place is great. It’s like a log cabin and has lots of Abe Lincoln memorabilia on the walls.

It’s no frills but that’s the best part. You read the paper menu and then go to the register and order and pay. The guy taking your order will bring your food to you. We have never been here but we learned the guy who took our orders name was Tom and he was a great guy.

The food came out fast and was everything you want in a diner. This place doesn’t overload the grill with butter like some diners and I appreciate that.

This place is cash only and they have an ATM if you didn’t know that. You have to have great food to do business this way. This helps them keep the prices lower than a lot of places around.

I ordered the steak and eggs. And if you look at the picture and think they didn’t cook my steak just know I always ask for my steak “as rare as you will cook it” and to me this was perfect. Thanks Tom for not being afraid to do it as I say.

Everything else was great and the home fries have good flavor and are cooked through if you’re a home fries eater you’ll know what that means.

I have been coming here since I was a kid I have very fond memories of my dad bringing my sister and I here. There were times we would go for dinner, just for Ice Cream or for both dinner and Ice Cream. I’ve never had a bad meal there staff is very friendly however the only issue I have is a lot of times the tables are dirty and need to be wiped down. It is a cash only place, there is a ATM on site if you don’t have cash on you. Prices are very affordable and you get a lot for your money. The Beef on Wick is absolutely amazing and out of this world every part of the sandwich is so delicious. The beef is so flavorful and juicy no fat at all on it, the Au Jus is delicious and the Wick Roll is PERFECT! It has the perfect amount of salt and seeds on it. On my visit a few days ago I got the Beef on Wick with fries and beef gravy. My sister got a Hamburger plate with fries and potato salad she loved her...

Awesome little place. Great food, great staff and always clean. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend it if you want a variety of meals to choose from.

Edit: This is a great local food stop! Besides the best honey dipped chicken & mac salad (my youngest son's fab!), hot dogs, burgers, fried mushrooms and fish fries they also have fried bologna, sloppy jo, liver and onions, beef on weck, chicken fingers (my other son's fav!), wraps and much more. Top of your meal with turkey hill ice cream! This is the place locals visit! That's gotta tell ya something good! Oh! And the best "garbage plates" around!

The staff is always on top of their game. The food is always cooked perfectly. There are indoor and outdoor tables. The place is always clean.

Forgot to say, is strictly cash only... so no debit, no credit cards. This keeps the costs reasonable.
