District Shops of Pelham Manor — Restaurant in Town of Pelham

Easy Driving access. Stores include BJ's, Pet smart, 5Below, Marshalls and others. Plenty of parking. Across the street are More stores, Fairview, Liquor, Jewelry... And within a few blocks radius is Smashburger, USPS Drop off, Wendys, IHOP, Car Wash, 3 gas stations, a Verizon store, a specialty delicatessen, Knuckleheads(Bar & resturant), a smoke shop and more. Located near the intersection of the Hutchinson River Parkway/ Boston Post Road and Bartow exit off I-95 (rear of co-op city) This shopping center is katty-cornered from the Bartow Pelham shopping plaza as well ( PCRichards, K-mart, numerous small stores in the plaza as well as AMC Movie theatre, Popeyes (fast food ) Old Navy, Staples, and the new MACYS Plaza. Co-op city is in the middle. This is a Very Large area encompassing Gun hill road, I-95, The Hutchinson River pky and just a mile short of Pelham Bay Train station(#6line) Although public transportation is available, a car is preferred as this area encompasses at least 6 Major shopping centers, malls, big box stores, a Home depot, and Many smaller strip mall stores. Be advised to look at an overhead shot of the area. This is a Massive group of shopping complexes, small stores and Large, WAY Too many...

Another instant of being hassled shopping while Black. A very different experience from the Michaels next door. This time I was followed around the store by two people. The most persistent was an African security guard who was about as subtle as a hammer He looked me in the eyes on my way in the store and the entire time I was there he was no more than three steps behind me and when I went to the area of the store where there were very few people. He decided to pretend like he was shopping. Picking up bottles and looking at them not turning them around putting them back. This completely put me off of my shopping to the point where I stopped what I was doing and when he stopped pretending like he wasn't watching me I followed him around the store. Until he decided to walk to the other side and return to the front. Only then did I walk out. At this point I can't help but be amused by stores that follow me around and get robbed by people who don't look like me. Essentially that's what they get. Who knows how many people were actually stealing from the store while those two people were following me around like they were my...

A touch of class awaits as you enter the door, and veer into some sweet delicacies, then make your way through the isles of sweet carrots, leafy greens, great organic vegetables await. The areas are small, but organized shoppers would prefer it that way. The shopping is actually easier that way. Frozen foods, and household necessity s are within the neat isles, with Italian bread, very close of course to the delicatessen area, fresh turkey, some roast beef fancy your palette, potato salad, cole slaw. They have it all, oh yes don't forget to wash it down with some great Ocean Spray Cranberry juices, maybe you prefer sparkling soda, or some other beverage, Manor Market...
