PXG Westchester — Local services in City of New Rochelle

Worked with Chris about 6 weeks back on a mini driver secret weapon to try out a PXG club. Chris did a fantastic job working with and explaining things to me and goals. Used the secret weapon and getting results I wanted on course. So I came back yesterday to work again with Chris. We’ve been talking for weeks and my goal was to build a special travel set, lower number of clubs. Spent some excellent time fitting and trying things out. I think now Chris has me dialed into an optimal set up of a Gen6 311xf driver , I have my previous bought secret weapon, two hybrids, and 317T (which very surprisingly I hit better than the rest with tweaks Chris made to get optimal height, spin and distance) so I bought the 5, 7, 9, G; then bought a 311xp 8 iron to use as a chipper (this in black, so it stands out in bag), and finally a 56 wedge. One length of hybrids, one length for the irons and wedge. No putter as I have a number of different putters. This bag and setup of clubs I am truly looking forward to using. Added this to my 2 year old full bag setup of Cobra Aerojet one length and Cobra darkspeed driver, fairway, hybrid, full set of irons and full set of snakebite wedges. Which I have liked and enjoyed and got to move my game along quickly over the two years.

Now the PxG provides me something different at a reasonable cost and with an expert fitting with Chris, I hope to improve and dial in even more.

I recently went through a full bag fitting with JP. I cannot say enough good things about JP, and my overall introduction to PXG. From the minute I walked into the New Rochelle store, I was treated like a VIP guest. Everyone was personable, attentive, and eager to make my experience seamless.

The fitting itself was an excellent experience. I have played golf for years, and worked for a PXG competitor during college. This allowed me to bounce ideas off of JP during the fitting, and ask really specific questions about how we were tweaking the clubs I was demoing. JP was attentive, thorough, and more than willing to engage with my questions and comments. In that regard, the fitting felt like a partnership.

I wanted to write a special thank you to the staff at PXG Westchester. My PXG irons needed loft, lie, and re-gripping work and my turnaround request was to have the work completed within 24 hours (if possible). The PGA store botched my very expensive leather grips and installed them poorly so I needed a competent professional to correct the sloppy work . My PXG fitter was truly an ace, first class gentleman, and fully accommodating. My request was completed well within 24 hours and my clubs were presented to me as good as new.
