The drive back from Niagara Falls was long and tiring, so we decided to stop at my favorite coffee chain, Dunkin’. But this time, Pambroke Area in Corfu, NY.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The older woman taking my husband’s order seemed quite cranky. First, she misheard his request for a "latte" and instead entered "coffee." When my husband corrected her, she mumbled, “There’s a difference between coffee and a latte.” (Trust me, I’ve had enough coffee in my life to know the difference!)
To make matters worse, she somehow thought we ordered a "small," even though we never mentioned that. She even muttered an exasperated “OMG” over the microphone. I couldn't believe it—regardless of how you feel, that’s not something you say to a customer!
When she finally handed the coffee to my husband, she bluntly remarked, “Your car is too far; there’s a wall between us.” My first thought was, “Yes, and there’s an even bigger wall between you and a raise!”
It’s clear that some people are not suited for their jobs. If your hearing isn’t great, we’re more than happy to repeat our order. If you don’t want to work on a holiday, don’t agree to the shift. And if your attitude is always like this, maybe it's time to find a hobby where you can take your frustrations out on something else—like gardening instead of a job to deal...
Read moreThis is a great dunkin to visit on the highway! The staff are quick and frienly, and the food was tasty. I was going to do the 6$ deal (breakfast sandwich, coffee, and hashbrowns), but unfortunately they cannot use that deal at this location. Anyways, I got an iced coffee and breakfast sandwich which was served quickly. I ate/drank at the service centre. The service centre had a lot of nice seating options that were clean and spacious. The bathrooms were also very clean. Overall this is a great Dunkin and I would go again if I ever was...
Read moreA regular dunkin but what stands out here is the service.
Had a coffee and the sausage and egg croissant sandwich. Sausage and the egg were nicely done. Croissant was good, but kinda soft. Possibly due to it being so warm and being wrapped
The coffee was ok. I found that as it cooled, it taste much better
Service was great. They did have a lot of customers when I was there so it was a bit of wait, but everyone from the cashier to person prepping orders and calling the order numbers were diligently working to get the lines dealt...
