Pancho’s & Gringos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Putnam Valley

Went here three times for dinner and karaoke on a Friday night. The first two times I enjoyed the food and service very much and was considering bringing my family here for dinner one night. After last night; I am reconsidering this. I got here at about 7pm. The restaurant was not very busy. Asked one waitress for a Coke and was pretty much ready to order. She basically ignored me about six times! How hard is it to pour a Coke? Also was not given chips and salsa but all other tables got them. Another waitress finally brought me my Coke and took my order. My flautas were brought out pretty promptly. However, after eating the second flauta there was a hair in it! Brought this to the waitress' attention and it was taken off my bill, which I appreciate. I would like to come back again but am hesitant to eat here, as this may happen again. UPDATE: 10/2021 We've been going here regularly now for a couple of years. The food is always quite good, the service is not fast but each dish is made fresh and hot and they see to it that you have warm tortillas and a delicious pico de gallo while you wait. Exceptionally curated tequila selection. I recommend this place whole heartily, to those not in a rush. Terrible service, terrible food. Rude owner. Negative stars. Ordered fajitas, no onions. Brought out with onions, reminded waitress I was allergic. She took it away and shortly after came back with meal. I began eating and found onions mix in. I again reminded her I was allergic and to please take the basically full plate way. I had to ask for water to take some benedryl because waitress spilled it earlier and left table drink-less. I asked for check and was given an attitude when I said i shouldn't have to pay for fajitas. The manager came to table and was rude and nasty. Told me I should have told waitress I was allergic and that he believes her that I did not. Customer always wrong. Place was drab and empty. Steak tasted old and gamey. Definitely avoid and save your money....
