So I got the cheesy bacon fries which if there was cheese it may be better. Then the Adirondack which honestly was room temp at best. And the fries are dry and unseasoned wouldn’t ever order from here again. Tried it on a whim and honestly would have rather bought McDonald’s at least that shows up and tastes good.

Farm to table food is 100% accurate. Best omlette I've ever had. The eggs are so deliciously fresh that I had a beautiful fluffy omelet. Turkey for their sandwiches is slow roasted. This place is a true labor of love and you can feel it. It's not only the food you'll come back for but the people as well.

Absolutely amazing! Greeted by Brianna who brought fresh cinnamon rolls out to sample. Warmest welcoming atmosphere. Food was amazing! Lots a desserts and soups to try! Randy was sure to make sure things were ok! Couldn’t have it any better than we did today!!

I had a Great American hot dog, which boast, " a cheese filled bacon wrapped hotdog." $4 is a little pricey, but it sounded too good, I'd splurge. I'd probably pay that at a fair anyway. Normally, the side is chips, but, again I splurged for an up charged order of hand cut fries (worth it!) The only concern I had about ordering this sumptuous treat was the bacon prep. I like bacon, but, rarely is it crispy enough for my taste. Which is why I bypass any bacon adorned dish. Most of the time, it's a let down. I explained that I preferred it cooked extra crispy, and if it wasn't possible, I understand, but would prefer just to go with the meat sauce topped hot dog. It came to me exactly as I requested. I'm so happy I tried it, and happy to have sampled the food here. I'm a foodie, good food can be challenging to find. A great chef/cook pays attention to the little details , and it makes a huge difference in quality and taste. I know hot dogs and fries aren't exactly gourmet, but they absolutely can be messed up. I recommend giving this place a try. Although I won't indulge in the delicious Great American hot dog all too often, there are plenty of healthy alternatives available. Thank-you Dix Ave dinner for my amazing lunch. It satisfied all my cravings. Edit Ordered a meal that wasn't provided, treated rudely. Door dasher stole my food. I won't be doing business with either any longer. Unless you are familiar with the owners/workers don't order to go from here they give it to anyone that enters. Over 2 hours and I'm so upset I'm not even...

Maybe I just went on an off day.. I was excited to bring two of my.kids here.. my 15 year old loves burgers and I thought yes! Farm to table. Perfect! I did pass it the first time since it is set back, there was an open flag by the road but I didn't see signs for Dix Ave Diner. We pulled in, noticed they seem to be doing construction outside, it is small inside but I do like the charm of small eateries. The gentleman ( who also served us) was nice enough to grab a booster for my 10 month old. My 15 year old ate his burger right up, the size of burger was decent. I ordered mac and cheese for my 10 month old. Kind of disappointed he told me it was kraft. I just expected more.. maybe regular noodles with homemade Mac and cheese. I also ordered a cheeseburger. The food was decent, the service was lacking. I waited more than several minutes, (it wasn't busy) for silverware and finally just got some off another table. The gentleman did see and apologized but I also noticed dirty tables while the gentleman was talking to another man at the counter for a very long time.. and not tending to what needed to be cleared at tables nor attending to guests for basic things wait staff normally would right away Probably...

I just discovered this hidden gem of a diner!! I had the best sausage biscuits and gravy I have EVER had, -and I lived in NC for 30 years, the spiritual home of biscuits and gravy. MY wife had an omelet, the contents of which, she said, was all grilled before going in the omelet. Everything was as fresh and tasty as you could want or ask for. The owner, Randy, was our sever, and he pushed a couple slices of lemon meringue pie on us. Now, I don't normally have pie after breakfast, but, it was just after noon, and the breakfast we'd just had was SO good, we consented, hoping we hadn't made a mistake. Of course, it turned out to be simply the best lemon meringue pie I have EVER had (sorry, mom). I can't wait to go back!!! When was the last time you anyone say that about a country diner? Their food is so fresh, so good, made with skill and care, and served with humor and warm conversation with the owner. We have found our new diner, and...
