11-8-24 Adding todays experience to my review from a month ago... There was only 1 person in the drive through so I decided to stop at this location before picking my son up from school. I pulled up and the person at the speaker box asked if she could take my order. I began to order a cheesy gordita crunch, before I could even finish saying the first item I wanted, the person working started talking to her coworker inside, complaining about the car that just pulled away saying how she lost their $20 bill out of the drive through window because they didnt grab it fast enough. She continued talking about this to the point where I even said "you're microphone is on" but she ignored me and kept talking to someone else inside. Finally she asked what I wanted. I again said a cheesy gordita crunch, chips & cheese, and a soft taco. I got to the window, paid, and checked the inside of the bag to make sure I had 2 tacos and the chips plus the cheese. I left, picked my son up, got home to finally eat and they had given me a Dorito shell inside the cheesy gordita crunch instead of what it usually comes with. I get back in the car, drive there and go inside this time. I explain the problem and they offer to remake it. The boy made the taco and handed me the bag but kept trying to hold it up so I couldn't put it on the counter. I finally took it the way he was insisting I take it, set it down and opened the taco inside. This time it had the right hard shell inside but it had these weird red chips inside of it... They had to make the taco AGAIN. Third times the charm I guess... this location is absolutely ridiculous. The workers are slow, inconsiderate, don't care about their jobs AT ALL and it shows. It shouldn't be this big of a deal to get "fast" food. Someone needs to step up and get this location in check.
October 2024 : Waited in the drive through line for 15 minutes for "fast food" only to have the person behind me cut in front of myself and the person in front of me so they would be served next. The workers didn't tell the person no and instead took their order ahead of the rest of us who had all been waiting. After about another 5 minutes of them talking through the window back and forth, I left without my food and I'm now heading to get dinner somewhere else....
Read moreThe Dix Avenue store is just as bad as the rest around here. All 3 Taco Bells are owned by Hospitality Syracuse. A company that obviously has no clue how to run a business, only pocket the profits. I had considered trying the Dix Ave store since it was relatively new, but every time I was going there, they were closed....or so I thought. It just looks closed because the sign and lights are never turned on at night. Anyway, pulled in anyway and discovered it was actually open. Went to the drive thru, one car ahead of me. Took at least ½ hour to get my order. Among the things I ordered was 4 Burrito Supremes. When I got home and we started eating the Burrito Supremes, we quickly discovered they only contained bean paste and a couple diced tomatoes. No meat, no cheese, no lettuce, no sour cream, no anything but bean paste and a couple diced tomatoes. I paid for Burrito Supremes, and didn't get them. I have no clue what these were supposed to be, but it certainly wasn't what I paid for. Hospitality Syracuse needs to train their staff, and perhaps tape a list of ingredients on the wall for various items, so maybe their untrained staff might come close to getting something right. I don't blame the staff, I blame the ownership. Hospitality Syracuse obviously has no interest in running efficient businesses, their only interests are pocketing people's money, no more. You always see their responses to all the negative reviews, yet nothing ever changes. EVER! I would strongly urge everyone to avoid all three Taco Bells in this area. Maybe if their profits disappear, they would be forced to sell out to a responsible ownership group. Hospitality Syracuse isn't it. P.S. - Hospitality Syracuse....I don't need another lame response. I'm sure the person hired to respond to the constant barrage of negative reviews already has more work than...
Read moreSomehow the newest location around here is the worst. Being the first one in line in drive through means nothing, I waited for 35 minutes at the window for my pretty simple order (1 Combo, and two ala cart burritos) and I finally was getting annoyed enough watching the staff inside stare blankly at the wall or argue with eachother that I waved to get someones attention. "Sorry How long do you think itll be" I ask. She rolls her eyes "Theyre working on it" "okay but like, do you know how long?" "I dont know i said theyre working on it!" And she proceeds to start closing the window. No one reading this will believe me when I say it, but i swear I never do this, so I said "Well can i get a refund and speak to the manager?" "Its going to take longer for me to get the manager than for you to get your food!" I snap back with a "I want to speak to the manager anyways!" And she closes the window and storms off. The timer on my order on their computer screen is now at 45 minutes. Manager shows up in less than a minute and immediately begins doing my refund, not asking what happened at all. At this point Ive already done the survey and called the 1-800 number while i was waiting. "Do you want to know why?" I ask the manager. She says sure, and i explain she wouldnt tell me how long it was going to take and was rude while doing it. Manager then says "Im sorry, do you still want your food?" And the same girl i had interacted with first says "I TOLD THEM TO THROW IT AWAY BECAUSE HE WANTED A REFUND". I thanked the manager, she said she was sorry, and Im letting everyone know this location is a no-go. Theres 2 other taco bells less than 10 minutes from this one that may be slow sometimes too, but at least the...
