Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

There was no one ahead of me on line when I ordered today (and not too many people waiting), so I was exited to get in and out quickly. The woman who took my order was pleasant and helpful. However, the order took 13 minutes to receive. Two people were called ahead of me. I ordered two 8 piece nuggets, two large fries, a mac and cheese and a side kale crunch salad. The grilled chicken nuggets had about 5 nuggets in total. Some of the pieces were so small they would hardly count as nuggets. As for the kale crunch salad, it would have fit in a half cup loosly packed and they failed to add the almonds. So, the grilled nuggets and side salad came to over $13 in price for maybe a cup of food. I'm hoping they improve in because this is the worst Chick-fil-A I have been to in regard to time, portion size and price (and yes, I know it is more expensive on the Thruway). Went here on Saturday February 1st 2025 with my parents, We live locally, and decided that we wanted Chick Fil A. This Chick-Fil-A is located in the sloatsberg rest area, which is right off of the NY state thruway. It was also recently renovated to add this restaurant. We got there, and had to decide what we wanted. I got the Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, with a chocolate shake, my mom got the same thing, but with a soda and some fries. my dad got the Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich with fries and a chocolate shake. We also got chicken nuggets as well. And plenty of chick fil a sauce! Person who took our order was very kind and nice. We paid via credit card and it was about $56.00! nowadays, fast food ain't cheap! Anyways, we got our order, sat down at a table, and ate our food. We stopped while heading home from Newark Airport. There were only 2 guests in front of us. I knew it would probably take time as they were clearly understaffed. I placed our order and paid. I then waited approximately 10 minutes for our food. As we opened our sandwiches, my husband was given a spicy shocked sandwich instead of the grilled one he ordered. I checked the receipt and it said grilled. He then returned to the line. No one acknowledged him so he waited. Someone finally came over and now he waited another 10 minutes for the correct sandwich. He was not offered an apology or anything. He was just handed the right sandwich. Clearly management needs to figure out a better way to handle these types of issues.
