I have been a customer of Village Blend since they opened and they started out strong. I was a big supporter of them. However, I came to write a review for two reasons especially after my last 3 visits.

1. Very long wait times! The wait for anything is very long. If you are trying to catch a train or just get a quick coffee or food item, plan to be there for a minimum of 20 minutes. The staff is very kind and owner is sweet but they have not yet figured out how to make anything efficiently. The times I have ordered and it’s been quick, it’s been wrong so be sure to go if you have time. Not a typical coffee shop in terms of efficiency.
2. Quality. Unfortunately, the quality of items has gone down a lot over the last year or so. Best example is that they charge $10+ for an avocado toast. It used to be two slices, thick and was amazing!! I never buy avocado toast anywhere but there (until recently). In my last 3 visits, they upped the price and it is now a tiny thin single piece of toast. Really not worth the price even if I never knew about their older/better version.

I have tried to be a supporter of this coffee shop but unfortunately it just doesn’t meet the mark and has been getting worse over time to the point that I’ve stopped going.
