Fire Pot Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

Decided to give this restaurant a try. Passed it several times and never had it. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn't tried it. Went for breakfast and maybe their breakfast selection isn't the greatest compared to their other choices. But the food truly did not taste good. I had the butter beans and saltfish and I couldn't even finish which I tried to force myself to since I spent the money. No flavor, greasy, the food was overcooked and mushy. The restuarant is not very well kept and has s dingy look to it. Could be due to getting business back up and running after COVID shut down, i know many restaurants suffered i dont know!!! I had today’s lunch special which was two pork with rice and peas and sweet plantains. I tell you this is the dish that you will always want to have and going back to this restaurant Fire Pot. Well done well done well done excellent test I was surprised that this meal was like this is my first time having this meal at this restaurant very good indeed.

My daughter ordered the fried red snapper excavate it is very tasty not over spicy well done . Decent food ,HORRIBLE SERVICE. Don't think I'll be returning, tried calling this place 5x to make sure my choice of food would be available.When a lady finally answers , she tells me "yes" .I arrive 15m later for her to tell me , she can't sell me the food cause someone called in for the last proportion that was left.Not to mention this same lady is ALWAYS ON HER PHONE when I come in , but cant answer the store phone.As I live on the other side of town , this was very frustrating and could've been avoided had the answered the phone ,first time or second...
