Valley Rock Mountain Market — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

We had the pleasure of discovering a wonderful organic market that left us beyond impressed! Their grass-fed beef meatballs were outstanding—authentic in texture and taste, with a subtle kick of spice that elevated each bite. The sauce was simple yet packed with flavor, complementing the meatballs perfectly.

We also indulged in their French onion grilled cheese, which was a delightful balance of sweet and savory. The bread was perfectly crisp and buttery, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. Served alongside was a fresh mesclun salad that cleansed the palate beautifully, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Not to mention, the atmosphere was extremely cozy and inviting 🔥

We’re excited to have found this hidden gem and are already looking forward to making it a regular part of our weekly visits!

The place is very clean and the young kids who work there are very sweet. The chicken salad with basil is absolutely amazing as is the coleslaw with the cilantro and lime

The three star is because a cheese quesadilla was given with zero condiments. it really should come with a small amount of salsa and perhaps a smidge of sour cream. also, it's kind of strange to go to a deli counter and not be able to order a sandwich; I could see the delicious chicken cutlet but there was no way for the staff to Make it into a lunch plate or sandwich. we ordered and ate out of little cups, that was a bit odd.

a little bit of sticker shock when we grabbed a container of the specialty ice cream from the City,. $11 for less than a pint was a bit pricey, considering you can buy that ice cream for about $8 elsewhere; I do get that places have to make...

The food and atmosphere was great. I got a Cuban sandwich which was amazing. The employees were also all super friendly. It’s also really clean inside and there’s a lot of seating both inside and out. And in the winter they make a fire-pit outside which I personally loved the smell of. However, the food and drinks were a bit pricey, not to mention the produce. There weren’t price tags on the produce which was a little inconvenient. I don’t think an average local could see themselves doing their weekly grocery shopping here. But, it’s a nice place to go to if you want a treat every once in a while or one organic...
