Birdhouse Brewing Company — Restaurant in Town of Richmond

My husband and I went there for a date night and walked away completely satisfied! The atmosphere, even in the start of the winter (considering it has a good outdoor vibe), was amazaballs! They have a downstairs and an upstairs. The decor is super tasteful and cozy. There was a very talented man playing the guitar, which just enhanced the vibe.

For a small one person kitchen, they’ve definitely adapted for their customers, while not over working themselves too much - I just hope all the disposable containers the food is served in are environmentally safe. I had the Mac and cheese, hubs had the Korean tacos and we shared a salad and pretzels. It was all very delicious!

As for the drinks: duh! Delicious! I’m not super into the beer scene, but definitely enjoyed their Hazy ….. whatever it’s called and the hubs had two pints of the pharaohs say NEIPA.

Definitely stop in, say hi, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. It also looks like they have a European Christmas market feel during the winter months....

Stopped in after a long day on the lake in the rain, freezing cold and starving. No one to seat us so we grabbed a table. Waited 10 minutes in a mostly empty dining area, no service, no "we'll be right with you" went and grabbed our own menu from off the bar, even with a couple employees standing right there still no greeting. After the ten minutes waiting we left went down to the inn. There, we were greeted before even entering the establishment and had an awesome all you can eat pulled pork buffet. Man I really wanted to try the paprikash and street tacos. Woulda dropped $80 easily on food and drinks between my buddy and I at the birdhouse but it's hard to order when no one takes your order or even bothers to come clean the table. With a wedding in Livonia, rehearsal dinner options are limited. However, by thinking just a little outside the box, we ended up at Birdhouse Brewing. Everything about our dinner was incredible and I would give the team here, especially owner Scott, 10 stars if I could. We had the tent outside to ourselves and opted for long tables. The food was a collection of small plates served throughout the night and every single one was delicious. With plenty of parking, great food and drinks and a ton of flexibility, Birdhouse was the perfect venue for a relaxed gathering before...
