Was highly disappointed with my last visit to this J&Râs. Firstly the people at the front desk were not very accommodating when we walked in. They were giving my family nasty looks & tried to sit us at a table for 4 instead of a table for 5 - there was 5 of us. Secondly we waited for a good 10-15 minutes before a waitress came over to ask us what drinks we wanted to order. Only it wasnât the waitress that we were supposed to have as per the one taking our drink orders said âyour waitress is busy right now. Iâll be taking orders until sheâs free.â It took at least another 10 minutes for our real waitress to come and take our food orders. On top of that it took at least 20 minutes after we ate to finally get our bill and have our order paid for. Let me tell you, Tiffany our waitress is a real airhead. She didnât have any eye contact while taking our order, was snapping away at her gum and twirling her hair as she was standing at our table which I found to be highly unprofessional, rude and quite frankly a little bit unhygienic. Another point of concern was that we had ordered something from the entree section on the menu (I believe it was the chicken parm & linguine) we asked if we got to pick 2 sides as per the menu it says all entrees come with a choice of 2 sides. Apparently it doesnât apply to every entree on the menu because according to Tiffany the linguine is the side. To me that seems very misleading as in the menu it states (ALL ENTREES INCLUDE A CHOICE OF 2 SIDES). Moreover when we got our food some of the sides we ordered were missing as some of us ordered entrees that we were asked what our choice of 2 sides were. My son got nothing with his entree even though he asked for fries & my other son only got French fries with his entree when he asked for veggies as his second side. It should also be mentioned that the serving sizes were extremely small (especially the macaroni salad they give you as an appetizer & for the price you pay) and they seated us right under AC vents that caused us to be cold the entire time we ate. I would give 1 star but the food is pretty good (albeit having small portions) so thatâs why I gave 2 stars. Overall the serving sizes need to be reevaluated, the menu should be re-worded (or at least honored when it says âall entrees come with choice of 2 sidesâ) & the staff could be a little more involved and kind...
   Read moreNormally I would rate them all 4 stars or higher, however when my family came out from the city for a visit, I made a mistake taking them here on a weekend evening, we had to wait about a half hour for a table,which the host lied and said 10-15 minutes, all the while when they sat us,right behind us was about 6 tables that no one was at??? Now we certainly weren't the only ones waiting mind you! So after that ,then we get seated in the dead center of the restaurant which I hate, because no one likes to try and eat besides a runway of people constantly shuffling by,and I did ask for a corner or at least a wall table but,it was crowded as hell...so,we all ordered and for the money I'm paying, half my steak was fat, my poor sister ordered a steak that looked like it wasn't even cooked,I even asked her if that was the salmon that I seen on the menu,yeah ,that's how it came out to her,I wasn't happy believe me,then the onion rings were soggy, in fact I bit into one and hot oil leaked all over my new jeans , like I said earlier, I've been here many of times,but this time nothing went well,and for their prices,and this economy, I might have a tougher time forgetting this trip... the service was okay, the food was terrible and the price, well you know it's...
   Read moreI felt i had to write this , I have been in customer service for over 40 years and today I went with my daughter . I would have written 5 stars but our server tifffany was just angry . i try to be polite and kind as I know customer service . in my 64 years I have only sent back 2 food items in my years of dining . the steak was way too done and it was burnt . I could not help but notice several times she was sitting at tables with other guest . I finally went up to her and asked about our order as it had been 40 minutes . I do not know if that set the tone but i was polite . the steak came out too done that i could not eat it and she appeared angry with me as I had to send it back . its not right I am paying for this meal and you would like a nice tip but the attitude and lack of any concern or to be helpful was not there . so disappointed as I have also been a server . A little kindness and professionalism goes along way . if you do not like the public or can not handle or want to handle any customers request for a nice dining experience . then perhaps a server job is not for you . I must say the manager was kind , polite and most helpful but some people could use a lesson in being kind and making diners feel welcome . Regardless I still left...
