Towne Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Rotterdam

I like to support the small, Family owned local businesses. When I think of the word “Towne” in the Rotterdam New York , I think Quality products, The attention to Family Value and excellence. That was appliances and TVs. Seeing Towne Pizza on the same building , I thought that same quality would continue. My order from Towne Pizza was anything but those values I mentioned. The Fried. Mushrooms arrived almost as cool/cold as a freshly picked mushroom from my garden. The breading so soggy it looked like Fried Mushrooms soup. The amount of grease in the container was like the bottle of a KFC bucket. My Chicken Sorrento was thrown together , Horrible presentation , pasta under cooked lid cover tabs never sealed. The slice of bread sent was the size of a table fork. I’ll give it the second star because the sauce was decent. I’ve had worse locally. The $3 dinner salad add on was not of any value whatsoever. bottom of the bag lettuce and a generic flavored dressing. Such a disappointment . The pizza we ordered was greasy and not the most flavorful.

If you work hard for your money, I’d strongly advise you not to waste it here. Our first experience was good, this our second time horrible. The Pizza Hut $19.99 deal...

We've ordered from here countless times and have been loyal to them for years. Always communicated if they were slow or busy. But this last time they took over an hour and 15 minutes to deliver and when they delivered the food it was all cold. I understand things happen but we had no communication.

So why the 1 star? Because they lied. We made the order through Slice at 4:30pm. When the order was well past the promised delivery time of 5:30 and no one was answering the phone I reached out to slice and started a chat with a representative. I informed them the delivery had not arrived and they said they would reach out. They lied and Towne said it was delivered at 5:20. About 5 minutes later it arrived, cold at 5:45pm. I reached out again to slice saying I have a doorbell camera with a timestamp and that the food was now delivered but cold. I also informed them I have documented proof of both time and temperatures (88-90*) but again they told the representative that they delivered it at an earlier time and it was hot.

This day and age with doorbell cameras and infrared sensors in camera phones, it's really not wise to lie about it. You lost us, best of luck...

Placed my order online paid with a credit card was charged the usual two dollar delivery fee However did not state that I was paying for the tip also with the credit card So they took a five dollar tip for themselves I didn’t see it until the receipt on the box which is folded up and stuck in the box was opened I had handed the delivery guy a tip just wrong I have copies of the receipt if anybody would like to see it I grabbed a slice of pizza just the other day at the store mention it to the guy and he blew me off and said that it’s a third-party that does it so I’m thinking the five dollar tip that they took out of my credit card went to the third-party and not to the delivery boy very disappointed in the way the new ownership is...
