Where do I even begin. I came with myself and a group of friends to try one of the only late night restaurants around, as we were all from out of town, and boy did we feel that. Walked right in with zero acknowledgement. After five minutes of standing around we decided on our own to sit at the bar. It wasn't until I was making awkward eye contact with the bartender when she validated our subtle movement of sitting at the bar. We asked about possibly a table or eating at the bar, and it was like I was communicating in a non English speaking language as no one was giving us any answers back. Finally, the bartender said that they would set up a table for our party of six. Repeatedly, as time progressed, we were told it was being prepared. 45 minutes later we were sent to our dungeon. We were guided to the right side of the restaurant in the far back round table with zero light and it was frigid. I went to grab candles for us to simply see the limited menu. Our waitress came over with an attitude as though we were inconveniencing her. Sprite? Pepsi? Don't bother as they have not a clue what those products are. Our waitress came back with a mini wooden cutting board that had slivers of burnt bread, mostly the crust of the bread, and no butter. At this point we were thankful to see products we could possibly digest and rationed it out amongst our table. We were never checked in on throughout our awaiting period of another 45 minutes. Our half cooked salmon, minute al dente rice, and canned spagehettio sauce over rigatoni, with a few random penne pieces finally arrived. It was a pleasure that our waitress was able to at least bring some more scraps of bread and even added butter this time. Cheese for your pasta? Not even enough came for a sprinkle. Overall, from the experience, wait staff, and the food our medieval/great depression unintentional themed dinner was outwardly unacceptable. Our group of friends come from a variety of backgrounds and work experiences, in which we pride ourselves on supporting those in any service related profession. We are a very understanding and patient group, however to walk in and made to feel as outsiders and simply pushed to the side was unprofessional and distasteful, along with the food. I rather they had said they were unable to take us and we would of simply moved on. At some moments one could suggest it being on us to simply walk out, however we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and enjoy the area, plus everything is about 25-30 minutes away from one another. Therefore, this was convenient and seemed appropriate. I would suggest one to totally skip out on wasting your time if you are not a local, as it seemed to be local based from the stares and glares, and make the commute elsewhere. Let's just say $130 plus dollars later and we were wondering why we did not just find...
Read moreWe called to make a reservation on Saturday night, the lady who picked up the phone was not very inviting and hung up the phone before we could give the name for the reservation. We arrived at the restaurant at 8.00pm , we were never greeted , we stood there waiting for about 10 minutes while watching a blonde lady walk by us several times without acknowledge us, then finally a dark haired lady came up to us and said sorry for the wait, they actually gave our table to another party who didn't want to sit where they were seated previously, so we were just standing there. Finally after being seated , we ordered our dinner it was five of us at dinner, our food took almost an hour to be served to us, this is a very small restaurant and they were not busy at all, it was one of the worst experiences we ever had, we were staying at The Roxbury Hotel they suggested we try this place for dinner, never again, the blonde lady was very rude, the other lady was very pleasant to us, the food was not great, they burnt my sister-in - laws steak to a char when it finally came out, over priced and bad service, find another restaurant to dine at if you're in town visiting, I'd skip this place, go somewhere where you're treated better and the food...

If you are getting married in the area, DO NOT use them for a welcome event, or any event for that matter. They are not equipped to manage large crowds. We worked with the owner to have a welcome dinner here for about ~65 guests outside on the side of the restaurant. The owner greeted us when we arrived and then disappeared for the rest of the event. We had only one bartender outside with us, we ran out of food, and there were no outside lights. Took 15-20 minutes each time we went inside to ask for things because the owner was not on site and the rest of the staff were not a part of the event and/or managing the entire restaurant. While we still had fun greeting our guests, it was a HUGE disappointment and misuse of our money, in our opinion. Not a well tended event at all and not what I would expect for renting out "Event space." Don't tell people you can manage it if you can't. We would have gladly gone...
