I had left a bad review on a place I have been coming to for a very long time. Has always been good food and good people. The night I left the bad review Dobies was swamped. Although my order wasn't right I should have spoken with the owner first to let him know about the service so he could correct the problem. So I am apologizing for the bad post and retracting it. I stopped in tonight and the owner recognized me and came over to discuss what had happened. I appreciated the fact that he wanted to make things right. So my visit tonight was good food and good service. Lesson learned. Don't strike out in anger. Give them a chance to correct the problem first. There’s a big difference between crust because it was baked today and crust because it’s just old. Decided to try Dobys today for the first time. While waiting to order, my food I observed kitchen staff preparing food. They need to go to food service training! One worker had gloves on (yea!) however she never took the gloves off when opening containers, fridge, touching counters, her face and then just dug the Same gloves into the bin of shredded lettuce! Chicken for a customers food was placed on same food prepare table as containers taken from fridge! No protection from cross contamination!!!! Walked out without food and WON’T go back!!!!!
