This restaurant doesn't open until 5Pm (dinner) and offers fine dining. Prices are on the high side but it is well worth it. The Phoneician Steakhouse provides an experience like restaurants used to provide in the past. You will have one server although during dining other servers will share in by taking dinner plates off of the table in between dining. You will be asked if you'd like mineral water or regular water before the server will place the order. In today's restaurant world normally you have to request a glass of water while dining in the past water was a regular occurance. Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. The Phonenician restaurant is tastefully decorated which showcases a georgeous brick fireplace which is lit in the winter. Tables and chairs were comfortable. Tables offered plenty of room for plates chairs were padded for comfort. Local art work is framed and superior placed for interesting viewing. A birch tree theme is featured by using black and white photography and a stunning artist painting sits by itself with magnificent colors. Reindeer as well as other ornaments made from birch wood are tastefully placed upon the fireplace mantle. Our server name was Donno who was from Northern Island and he took well care of us. We enjoyed having conversation with him. Service was adequate. Dinner entree comes with fresh warm bread which had a delightful crunchy crust and soft middle. Exactly how bread should taste after being baked. I highly recommend the tomatoe stack appetizer which offers a bed of lettuce creamy fresh matzarella and a nice drizzle of balsamic oil for the finish result.Entree came delightfully plated with elegant food flowers decorating and giving a nice appeal to foods. I'd highly would recommend the pork chop entree which was the best pork chop I ever had eaten. The pork chop was huge thick juicy delicious and baked to perfection. Mashed potatoes shoe string cooked carats and asparagus which was cooked to perfect included the feast. We didn't have any room in our belly's for coffee or desert but did order a ice cold IPA for our beverage. I ordered the IPA which had a wheat and grapefruit taste to it. If interested ask the server for the name. I enjoyed the Phonecian Steakhouse immensely and hope to return when we're...
Read moreI had such a disturbing experience here last night. The term HOSPITALITY is non existent in this establishment. Our food was delivered to the wrong table, then they tried to deliver us that tables food. There was confusion and I watched our food sit on a tray by the door for 10 minutes. Long story short when our food finally arrived my rack of lamb was cold and well done, I had ordered it medium rare. The manager never came to our table. The server was clearly upset. I ate a few of the lamb chops and some of the potatoes because I was never offered to have the meal prepared correctly. After paying our bill I asked to speak to the manager on the way out. At his point she had given us a $13 discount on our check lol. As she walked from the back of the kitchen aggressively, she said to me " I already know the whole story, u ate a couple lamb chops and I can't give u anything for free." Not once was there an apology. I wasn't looking for anything for free a simple im sorry would of sufficed. She was rude and inconsiderate and we felt discriminated against. For a "fine dining" establishment they need a manager with a bit of hospitality and grace. This woman is in the wrong industry and ruined what should of been a nice night out for me and my partner. Don't waste your...
Read moreDon't even know where to begin we were actually going to a place where we have been before down the street but we decided to stop here instead because we have been craving a good steak. They project themselves to be a high end steak house the only thing high end was there prices. The drink were ok tasting but on the small side. We ordered oysters they were not cleaned properly at all still had mud in them and were not cut properly we returned to have them cleaned we recieved the same plate with so much water on it i had to drain it. We also ordered the burata which ended up being fresh mutz. So we decided if they could not get this rite we should not order a 100 dollar steak so we proceeded to order truffle fries and the parppadelle bolonese. The truffle fries didn't have the slightest hint of truffle and was more like big burnt potatoes sticks drench in oil. As for the bolognese a true one does not have cream in it and if it does it should be specified in the menu. As for the actual service the only good thing about the service was acaully the food runner and the bus girl the server himself was terrible and even dressed sloppy. With this said I truly hate writing negative reviews but don't betray yourself to be high end when...
