Hampton Bays Bagel — Restaurant in Town of Southampton

I've gone here a few times to get my usual order of bacon and eggs on a plate. I've been mostly happy with the food, but sometimes the meal looks and tastes like it was prepared in a rush. The last time I went, I had to put a bit of effort into sawing through the scrambled eggs with the plastic utensils. The bacon has been hit or miss so far. When the bacon is done right, it's crispy (but not burnt) and delicious. On one occasion, however, it tasted as if it was pulled off of a shelf and tossed in the microwave.

The interior is pretty nice; there's plenty of space between each table, and everything is always clean and orderly. There's not much space around where you place your order, but at least you can wait at one of the tables until your food is ready.

The price for my food has been consistent across all three visits, which is extremely rare as far as my custom order goes. The staff has been very nice and helpful so far as well. I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon after another mediocre workout at the Planet Fitness next door. I want to give this place a higher rating, so I definitely want to try the bacon and eggs a...

Stopped here while in the area for something else. I ordered a toasted bagel and a bagel with cream cheese. With only 2 people in front of me it took 15 minutes for me to get my bagels. I ordered a toasted bagel that was barely put on the grill. The place was very cluttered and the signs had multiple layers of paper and stickers where prices had been changed. Upon eating the bagels I ordered they were less than appealing. With a number of bagel places on the island , I’m surprised this place still sells bagels. The bagels made here are not a good representation of a Long Island Bagel. They offer many other things such as fresh juice and smoothies and other sandwiches, so maybe those items are better but trust the reviews and do not waste your time with ordering...

Basic bagel shop with a young female employee that never smiled. The first thing she asks me - scoop? The boss explains that people want their bagels hollowed out for sandwiches… oh ok, well how about——good morning, would you like me to… Does anybody do proper customer service anymore? Behind the counter is kind of disorganized and the place is sort of clean. I sat down with my bagel. I realized they didn’t give me cream cheese on both sides of my bagel and it was just a smear on one side. We’re in the Hamptons people. Do you really need to save every penny by giving me less cream cheese on my bagel.? They put more cream cheese on my bagel, but I can’t say that I would come back in here again...
