Jennie’s at Drossos — Restaurant in Town of Southold

Not your ordinary snack hut. A gem of a find. Dont drive by and if you do, pull a u-turn and head back. This place was delicious. It has your usual snack menu but it also has so much more. Grilled Shrimp flatbread, lobster rolls or Jennies Asian inspired menu items like fried shishito peppers, fried half chicken with honey and thai basil, Korean BBQ Ribs.....then there's my new favorite item. Duck fat fried yukon gold potatoes....

It was my first visit to Greenport and I loved our stop at Jennie's at Drossos, so much we had lunch there twice. The menu has something for everyone. A few standouts were the pickled peaches , the Thai basil fried chicken with a honey butter hot sauce and the vegetarian torta. The tater tots are so crispy and crunch and the Watermelon Gazpacho was cool and refreshing. Great...

Definitely the best fried chicken I’ve had on LI. Maybe anywhere. Great sweet potato fries. (With a large enough portion for leftovers of both). Great chicken sandwich (said my husband). And a small wonderful soft serve with rainbow sprinkles at the...
