As someone young, I’ve never left a review on a restaurant before and I have worked in the food industry and understand the stress, however the way this KFC is ran is absolutely horrendous and there is no excuse for it whatsoever or possible reason for why it’s like this… we made a mobile order 20 MINUTES before leaving the house and when we showed up they told us to hold one second through the radio.. no big deal. Thought it was a little weird that there was music blaring in the background though. Nobody else was in line and multiple minutes went past so we decided to just go in and pick it up that way since we figured it was already done considering they had now had about a half hour to make our food. Their doors were locked, with their chairs put up, when it was 7:40, even though they close at midnight. a different worker asked us to wait in a spot next to the restaurant and they’d bring out the food or we could go inside through the side door and wait. There were exactly only 4 other cars, sitting in a spot, also waiting for their food. That’s it. 4. We went in like the worker said, along with another customer who’s car was in a spot. We were welcomed with a woman worker yelling at her coworker for letting customers in and that they had too many people in the lobby. There was ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE LOBBY…? Yall must be extremely privileged in this job to consider that being busy. Us, and whoever the poor other cars were waited FOREVER, as the employees danced in the kitchen to rap music blasting through the whole place, casually cursing nonstop. I know KFC is not a place for royal treatment but jeez that is beyond embarrassing for that place. Whoever is managing this place needs to get a grip. Not to mention after getting our food the chicken was rock hard that even when we hadn’t eaten all day and were starving, did not take more than one bite because we could not...
Read moreI've been going here for years - after a roller coaster of highs and lows, I've decided that likelihood of having a bad experience here outweighs any potential positives.
At its best, staff is friendly and offers free snacks for the kids, lobby wait is short and you get everything you pay for.
At its worst, the drive-thru takes 45+ minutes, the parking lot is a traffic hazard, orders are completely botched (as in not a single correct item), and menu items are unavailable. Most recently, I tried an online order, and that completely failed without warning, but not after sitting in the drive through with a grumpy toddler for 30 minutes, and being told to try the KFC in Horseheads instead.
More often than not, food quality is inconsistent and small substitutions get missed, but nothing too bad.
It's hard to hold any fast food restaurant to a high standard, but you have to set the bar somewhere. For us, it's mostly about an easy food pickup (especially when the day's been rough), and not waiting to get home to find that half the order is wrong. And it's unreasonable to expect this 100% of the time, but 50/50? C'mon...
Before going here, I'm forced to ask myself, "Do I really want to put up with KFC tonight?", and you should be asking the same before you go. There are plenty of other food...
Read moreCombine KFC Taco Bell with a completely incorrect prices when ordering inside. The manager boy and staff are so unknowing that when the menu says, "Chicken Chalupa $3.99" and it rings up as $4.89 their answer is that it's because it's chicken... As if to say that the beef ($4.19 menu price) is supposed to be less. The beef rang up at $5.29 which was also incorrect. So they made the whole line wait while this kid checks the corporate emails. Says it's not discussed there. So we say look, are we getting it for the displayed price or not because this is going on 20 minutes now. His response is, "I need to call my manager and ask." What a TERRIBLE STORE MANAGED BY IDIOTS! Last time in it was issues arguing with the people on what is a thigh and what is a breast. If I order AND PAY PREMIUM FOR A BREAST, I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK A THIGH IS WHITE MEAT. I PAID FOR A BREAST. This store is something you want to avoid for speed, accuracy and correct pricing. It is NOT a corporately owned store and does NOT follow their pricing nationally. Which begs to reason why he had to check the corporate email when it's not a corporate store??? I'd give the store zero stars but then I wouldn't be able to write this truthful review. See my YouTube account for up-to-date videos on the things...
