Jay's Pizza & Eats — Restaurant in Town of Stony Point

I ordered wings, a calzone, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. I asked how many wings came and was told 9. The website said wings were $5.65 so I thought that was a great price for wings. My order came out to be kind of expensive for what I ordered so I asked how much each individual item was and each thing was $1 or more than what the website said. I mentioned the price difference and was told "The site has to be updated" When I got home I checked out the food and I did not have 9 wings, I was only given 8, and they cost $7.75. So the wings are basically 1$ a wing which is a ripoff because I would have just made my own. The sandwich did not taste good at all and was soggy and the bread tasted stale. The calzone was good. I decided to give them another try one day while I was driving home. All I ordered was a slice of pepperoni pizza. The guy (the owner) charged 3$ for a slice of pepperoni pizza! That is crazy! It was so soggy and dripping of grease that when my son went to eat it, it fell apart! Not even the better pizzerias around here charge 3$ for a slice. If you are looking for a good pizzeria Beni's Trattoria or even Pizzarena is much better and charge less! When the guy said 3$ I said that's a lot of money for a slice of pepperoni and he goes "those are the prices". The slice was for my son and he was hungry so I paid, but had I known beforehand that their prices were too much for their quality I would have gone to any other pizzeria around here. I am extremely dissatisfied. The guy was friendly to us when we walked in, but I'm not paying for friendliness, I'm paying for food and quality. The quality is okay but not for their price. I heard Jay's Pizza took over Paradise Pizza only a month or so ago. After reading many reviews & recommendations from several different sites, a friend & I ordered delivery last night. We had 1/2 each of the Chicken Parm & Veal Parm heroes. FREE french fries came with each order. I'm not sure if free fries come with the cold heroes or any other types of sandwiches unless listed, so just ask first before ordering a separate side of fries. Either way, the heroes were absolutely delicious!! The bread was very fresh as was the cheese & sauce. You could tell the sauce was homemade. Fries were perfect to my liking. Even though I've only had the heroes so far, when something is that good it is a pretty good indicator of how everything else will be. I highly recommend this new place and can't wait to try everything else on the menu. I don't want to mention other Italian places I've been to, but whenever I've had a hero from other places, everything was always so soggy by the time I got it home. I love the styrofoam hero boxes Jay's use. We ate the heroes almost 3 hours after delivery because something came up. Fresh & not soggy in the least. I eat out Italian-American atleast 3x a week, for years. I was open to trying them when this owner took over, but I didnt like it.. being that it's the only place close by, I deal with it when I have to. At first I thought it was coincidence but I tried again and again. I order the SAME thing everytime, and get violently ILL for an entire day an hour or two after eating my meal. This is NO coincidence! I'm still up recovering from last night. I'm done chancing it, it's official. The ingredients in this meal must have issues with refrigeration or cross contamination. I will report this and I would suggest any others that get sick from this location but have kept it to themselves, to report it too. The meal only has about 2 ingredients. Cheese and bread. Shouldn't be getting sick everytime. Also, who I assume is the owner is not friendly. Always treats me as if I am an inconvenience.
