Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Sullivan

All the employees were in the back chatting with each other. I made eye contact with one of the employees more than once, and I was completely ignored. After at LEAST 10 min, I had to yell for someone to take my order, then another 10 min and they hadn't even STARTED my drink! I even heard them arguing 'no one told me to make his drink!' Not to mention the people behind me still waiting. And they made the drink wrong to top it off. I have worked at starbucks in the past, this kind of thing is absolutely inexcusable. Clearly bad management, but also the employees know better. I expect better...

The 2 stars for atmosphere was because of the atrocious design of the building itself and the placement of Starbucks within. Its extremely uncomfortable, like standing in a busy hallway. There was no thought put in by the architect that people need a spot to wait for their coffee, as Starbucks drinks take some time to make. We were all crammed in a small area that wasn’t meant for waiting. The Starbucks itself was clean and the staff were great. Whomever planned the space just really missed the mark horribly. Not too pleased with my first ever two visits while on vacation. First day asked for decafinated tea with 3 creams. Waited over 4 minutes fir this and a,dark roast coffee. Finally got it, went back to hotel only to find NO cream at all in my tea. Tried again day two, different associate, tea order ok, however I had to explain what a double double coffee order was.
