Devlin's Deuce — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

Met the owner and his staff on business; saw the juke, the pool tables, the darts, and had a great vibe about the place, even though it wasn't super busy. Checked it out last night for the first time and wow was I impressed. Justin was our bartender, great service, great conversations. He makes a good Diet n Bourbon too. Place wasn't super packed but buzzing with good vibes of folks just enjoying their night. No knuckleheads, no creeper types. I sampled the Texas Hots and the Mozz sticks. Both great. The Hots were 95% spot on to the original Texas Hots in Wellsville NY. Between food n drinks my total bill (without the generous tip) was less than $30. Can't go wrong there. My friends and I decided to go to the deuce for dinner. We’re pretty new there and we ask if the grill is open and we’re ordering drinks while it’s pretty dead in there and the one bartender Jonny is giving us an attitude and rushing us with our order. My friends and I were nothing but polite when ordering but I was sick of the service and looked at a regular next to me and asked if this bartender always acts like this? I do like this place. Have been a few times for drinks and food. The food is average like any other bar food. Drinks are reasonable. The reason i gave 3 stars.....There is a bartender by the name of Johnny who was there each time we have been there and he's a bit of a prick. There was also a woman behind the bar, cannot recall her name, but she was very nice. Gotta be a local I guess to receive a warm welcome from Johnny. Not very personable. All in all a decent place to go...
