I came to new york on vacation to see niagra falls. Im from Tennessee and was enjoying site seeing. I am very blessed to have seen new york and the falls. When we left the falls my husband, kids, and i were very hungry. We were just looking for a good place to eat. We noticed jims steakout located at 2180 sheridan dr. Buffalo, NY 14223 and decided to stop and grab some food. When my family and i walked in we were in line for about 2 minutes. Then a woman working there yells you need to get out of my store without a mask. So i was walking to go get the mask for my family and the woman yells at my husband and kids again. In Tennessee we are not required to wear mask. There were other people who had the same issue. This happened at 10:24 pm. The woman who that took our order was very polite and kind. After she took our order she repeated back to us what we ordered. I asked for the woman’s name who yelled at us and was told she was the manager kayla C.. As a manager she could have come to us politely and ask us to kindly put on a mask then come back in. She never even apologized. She kept working as nothing was wrong. My family and i were embarrassed in front of all the workers as well as other customers. When another woman brought our food out to our vehicle she looked ashamed and acted as if she wanted to apologize on behalf of her rude boss. A manager should be a good example for the staff. I honestly think that she should not be a manager and have to go through training again or something should be done. If no action is taken then the customers and other staff members think that she can get away with anything.Next time i think we will try a different location. Read moreOne of the best food takeout experiences I've ever had in my life! I had to take my wife to Kenmore Mercy hospital late last night, Wednesday, 8/28-29/19. Everything was a whirlwind for me last night with her being so ill, and I never had a chance to eat dinner. At 2:30am in the morning I was ravenous! All that was open in that area at that time was Jim's Steakout on Delaware avenue between Sheridan drive in the 290. How the staff could be so friendly and so helpful at that time of the morning, was & still is beyond me! The assorted sub they made for me was absolutely delicious and of the highest quality! These were a very friendly group of people with lots of friendly smiles that were naturally genuine, especially the young woman who took my order, wishing my wife and myself well. It was so terrific to find that the only place open was also a place with such genuinely friendly people & the highest quality of food at 2:30am in the morning!!! To be treated so wonderfully at that time of the morning when my wife was in the hospital with my being so distraught was absolutely wonderful! Thankfully my wife turned out to be fine. Read moreI specifically went in person to the Belmont location because my order is ALWAYS wrong went I either order on line or over the phone. I order 3 hoagies. 2 with double steak onions peppers and mushrooms. The third one was double steak with cheese Jim’s sauce. Also 2 large fries. Got home it was wrong. It had peppers onions and mushrooms. I understand mistakes happen. But because this happens ALL THE TIME. I went back and explained that the hoagie was wrong. The cashier could not have cared less. Walking away when I was still talking. The person in the grill asked me 2 times what should be on it. Got home it was STILL WRONG!! Had onions and tomatoes. Went back again. Now we are going on 90 minutes from the first time I ordered. Told the cashier this is still wrong. Told them again what should be. The person on the grill asked me 2 times again what it should be. Told him. Did not want to make a trip back. So I opened it in my car it was a mess. Had the toppings correct but was not double steak. At this point I just wanted to go home. We are a family of 4 and usually spend about 50-60 dollars when we order. We will not be ordering ever again. Sent a message on the Belmont location website never heard back!!!
