Saigon Bangkok Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

We placed an order on door dash when we were looking for Thai food in Williamsville,NY. We ordered 2 of the same curry dishes with different heat levels. They both arrived very spicy, which my wife cannot eat. I called the restaurant and explained the situation. The inexperienced girl on the phone was not trained enough to know the ins and outs of how door dad works with their delivery orders. She commented often how short staffed they were and offered a credit. That did not resolve our need for dinner for my wife. She told me to call door dash and deal with it myself. I explained since it was their mistake I would simply like what we ordered and would wait for delivery. She again said they were short staffed and didn’t even know what to do or how to do it. We spent $120 on dinner and were very disappointed. I even mentioned leaving a negative review she said if I want to leave a nasty comment, that is on me. There are so many Thai places in Williamsville and I am happy to give them my business or try something new based on this one experience. I miss the days of quality customer service and good leadership that puts its employees in a place to succeed. Saigon Bankok_Niagara Falls Boulevard May 15th, 2023

I order food for pickup once a week from this location & left today so disappointed. I completely lost my appetite. I came in & a nice waitress proceeded to cash me out. The phone kept ringing & told her to answer it, as I was not in a rush. She took the order & right afterwards attempted to Cash me out. Right before she did so, a very loud inappropriate Asian woman whom I believe is the Manager yelled across 4 tables for this server to (stop what she was doing) to clear a plate. Several guests that were seated, along with myself were appalled at how un -professional & rude she was to an employee. She then came storming up to the counter so hostile & gave me my change by throwing the coins in my hand. I really wanted to leave after this but was waiting for my side of hot sauce. The poor waitress who previously was juggling several customers brought it right out & apologized to me. This particular manager I have witnessed belittling employee's & acting in such a distasteful manner.

June 23, 2018. I went to the Saigon Bangkok on Niagara Falls Blvd. yesterday afternoon; I stopped eating my Pad Thai seafood right away when the next bite felt dry and tough, like old cafeteria food. I looked at my food and it looked like some of the noodles were fresh but some of the noodles looked old and dry, even a bit of a different color. There were two scallops, one was different than the other, even the color; and the fish was in three small pieces and they too were different in color and texture. I feared and stopped eating the rest. I needed to use the ladies room; the rest room looked okay, I always have to clean up a bit after others before me which was the case, sorry to be graphic, the under seat of toilet was a horror! As in, "Never been cleaned!" I emediately had to leave. As I did I told the employee, who by the way was doing something with a huge pile of beans on one of the dining tables in the dining room listening to some kind of talk show on her device (which I think should be done in the kitchen not out in the space where public people are passing). I fear the worst and I feel I need to call an official about...
