I was visiting a friend next door to this KFC location and was thrilled because I love their food but there are no KFC rstaurants located conveniently near my house or daily driving routes. Since I would literally only have to go next door I went online to view a menu and put in the zipcode to make sure the prices were for this exact location, just as the KFC website directed me to do. I knew I had enough money to purchase what I wanted and tried to order through the drive-thru since it was pouring rain outside. I was told to pull up to the window for my total, which I assumed would be $6.57 based on the price the website quoted me with tax. However, when I arrived at the window I was told it would come to $10.93 with tax. I was astonished and asked the young lady working the window why the price was so different from the website quote. She said the website price is the website price and the store price is more. I asked why a location is picked online to reflect accurate menu items and pricing if the total was going to be completely different. She was very rude and said, "It just is". I asked the price of the items I ordered at the store and to my surprise the biscuits are $1.19 for that location online, but $2.79 in store. I explained that I could noy afford the price in store and would have to cancel my order. The lady gave me a very nasty look and slammed the drive-thru window in my face. Read moreI was door dashing at this location yesterday and had to unassign two orders because of the staff here. As multiple other complaints say, the wait time was absurd. I had an order for one item and they told me it would be 25 minutes because they were out of chicken! WHAT?! You’re Kentucky Fried CHICKEN!
In regards to the staff behavior, I have seen sloths move faster. Literally there were 5 workers SLOWLYYYYY walking around the kitchen. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no contact whatsoever until I leaned over the counter and requested my order. The woman with the purple hair was the worst. Leaning on a counter by the drive thru window with her back to me. People were getting irate in the drive thru. She and one other woman were rolling their eyes, mocking and swearing about the frustrated customers. On the second order, one male worker told me there was not enough crispy chicken and that the manager told him something. I don’t even remember what he was told because I was so frustrated at that point. But, if one of those girls was the manager, the owner needs to do something. Based on their extreme unprofessional behavior, I don’t think any of them are re-trainable. I took inconspicuous videos after I realized the second order (hours after the first unassigned order) was going to take 30 minutes. I did contact Door Dash support regarding this merchant. The store located in Amherst, New York on Bailey Ave. Is the worst KFC that I have ever been to in my life I ordered a meal in the drive-through got home to find that my coleslaw was spoiled and slimy. I went back to the store. The store manager was very rude and nasty. Was not even sure that he was actually the manager as he did not have on a uniform was dressed in street clothes and had no name tag. After explaining and showing him the condition of the coleslaw his response was he doesn’t eat it so he does not know how it is supposed to smell, and that he could give me another one however, it was made from the same batch, which made absolutely no sense, because the couple that was eating in the dining room complain that they’re coleslaw with slimy as well.He refused to issue a refund and when I asked for information for the store manager, he advised me that they would tell me the exact same thing. I let him know that I would be more than happy to hear it from him directly. His response was once he tells you the same thing.
