China Max — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

First things first when I was ordering my food I couldn't get one word out because he kept cutting me off asking me what I wanted before I could even tell him. Then when I'm paying he sets the credit card slip down on the counter and as I was putting my wallet away he threw the slip at me signaling for my signature and tip. I ordered sesame chicken, spicy chicken, Lo mein, and an egg roll. All I could taste of The egg roll was grease. Out of all the chicken id say there were 2 pieces that actually had chicken, the rest was chewy fried breading. I brought it back to them asking for a refund (which I literally never do so yes, it was that bad) he asks me if I want more chicken I said no I'd like my money back and he said no and tried to offer me a bottle of iced tea! Ordered sesame chicken and general tso, received the worst interpretation of both I've ever had. There was almost no chicken, was 99% batter and the sauces were super thin. I've ordered from here before and it was average, but this was TERRIBLE! I don't write reviews and I've never thrown out takeout, but this place is exceptional in that regard. Absolutely unpalatable and intentionally made such to reduce cost and abuse customers. I'm reporting this restaurant to the service platforms because there's absolutely no way any person could make such bad "food" without knowingly seeking to defraud the consumer. I eat out very rarely, maybe once a month or two -- thank you for making my experience unforgettable. Feel free to reach out to me for a refund, but given the consistency of similar reviews -- it seems obvious whoever is in charge of the kitchen here should suffer for their crimes...

Amazingly flavorless dry and awful. The fried rice had vegetables in it, but somehow had absolutely no flavor besides the peas. Maybe try putting green onions, garlic, salt or ginger to give it flavor. The sesame chicken was very very dry and fiberous, just gross. It also had little flavor, but good profile. The eggroll, a simple eggroll, 6 of them, all burned and hard as a rock. I cut the roof of my mouth biting and pulling trying to rip it apart to eat it. It also had an unusual fermented taste that I was not a fan of, that I've never experienced at any other eatery. I couldn't make it through the regular portion lunch/dinner size togo.
