Tasty China — Restaurant in Town of Tully

I'm puzzled by the positive reviews. The food is not authentic and it is not good. I'd give it 1 star, but there are worse Chinese restaurants in the Syracuse area.

We got hot and sour soup that was neither hot nor sour and infused with scrambled egg. It was okay after we added vinegar and siracha sauce, but still very dull. The main course was chicken and garlic sauce and an allegedly spicy vegetable medley. Neither was spicy and both were infused with a cloyingly sweet sauce that tasted like corn starch and sugar and not much else. It is not the worst Chinese food I've eaten in Upstate NY, but that is more a condemnation of my region than praise for...

So, normally my daughter and I would frequent the place in Manlius, but tonight we found out they closed permanently. So we said “let’s head to Cortland then, by way of Tully”. Only to remember “oh yeah! Tully has a place...let’s try it!” Let me tell you, this place is amazing. That’s some of the greatest flavor I have ever had in Chinese food. The staff was so nice, the place was clean, and the Cashier even reminded me that we got a free 2 liter bottle of soda with our order. Manlius never did that. 🤔 So in my honest opinion....we are VERY happy with this location and the food was perfect. You have a loyal customer going...

This is the best Chinese place I have ever been to. Everything is made from scratch which almost never happens these days. The egg rolls were outstanding! Also the general Tso, sweet and sour, and Mongolian chicken were extremely good. I have to say the best thing there is the house special lo mien/fried rice.
