I started with Shrimp and Quinoa Gumbo soup in a cup. Amazing. ($6). For my main meal I had the Steak and White Cheddar Panini Marinated Flat Iron with sautéed red onions, tomato, spinach and horseradish aioli on ciabatta bread ($14) served with a choice of quinoa tabouli, garden chickpea salad, summer lentil salad, or french fries. I chose the chickpea salad which has no flavor so you have to add olive oil and vinegar cuz there's no seasonings The sandwich is very big. Meat was pretty tender. Cheese could have been melted a little more. It was enough for two meals. Sandwich did not blow me away for $14. But when you're starving....I feel it's overpriced for lunch. $21 without tip. Really nice atmosphere. My friend is here frequently and she got the avocado egg rolls they give you two for $10 with some spicy stuff that I wasn't crazy about. She also built her own salad in that cost $19. You can build your own salad starting with the greens and then adding in the meat, condiments etc. A plain salad is $9 and then add another $10 for all the other things that you like. Apparently she really likes it I thought it was overpriced but she enjoyed it and that's all that matters. The fish tacos look really good. The entire parking lot was packed at 1:00 in the afternoon had to wait for a parking spot. So they're doing very well. Good for them. Waitress was lovely. I felt the food came in a timely manner. I had a very nice visit with my friend in the restaurant. I didn't really notice any of the craft beers, all the different types of espressos and teas or the fact that they had a second floor. We had a window seat so I was enjoying the scenery. I didn't take any pictures...
Read moreWe experienced an unfortunate event in that within a short time of our food arriving, our 8yr old threw up all over the table. Needless to say, I rushed to clean up after my child & asked the server if our food could be reordered since we would not be staying. She said she would have to speak to the owner which I found odd because I wasn't asking for our meal to be compensated. I was willing to pay for the reorder. When I finished cleaning him up & returned to the table, I see takeout food containers & the server apologizing profusely. I've always known that common sense isn't so common but to think that we would take home contaminated food was beyond my comprehension. I had to pause & ask the server why would I take food that had vomit sprayed all over it. Would any of them take the food home? I instructed her to give me the bill & she continued to apologize while the owner said nothing. Maybe she asked how my child was but instead I as the consumer expected that the quality of customer service given at your business leaves a bigger impression & return investment in your business. I found the owner to be unsympathetic in her lack of kindness in offering options to our unfinished meal. I didn't expect a free meal but at least a 10% courtesy discount off a meal that none of us were able to enjoy. We paid our bill & left the server a tip. That server's generosity expressed in her concern for my child & our experience spoke volumes. We had waited 30 minutes to be seated & enjoy a family meal but instead we witnessed greed of money over the consumer. No, I will not be returning & hope that the $100 that we paid sustain your pockets during those slow...
Read moreMyself, My Wife, Daughter & Son decided to attend The Brunch on Easter Sunday April 9, 2023.. We've Eaten @ The CooperBarn Before Yet This Time Was Less Than An Enjoyable Experience..
We Had a 2pm RSVP & Yet We Waited 50mins until 2:50pm To Receive Our Food.. Mind You, @ Least 3 Other Parties Came Into The Restaurant AFTER US... An were served their food BEFORE US..
Alicia, our Waitress made it seem as if my family was being Impatient as we waited 50mins to receive our food. Alicia was LESS THAN hospitable as she was very condescending & often forgetful. Alicia showed no interest in accommodating my family for the deficiencies & lack of service in which the staff provided.
Also, the French Toast was slighty Burnt, Sausage & Bacon were COLD whence the food arrived. MY Wife, Daughter & Son were clearly hungry & bothered, yet Alicia, The Waitress Made No Effort To Show Hospitality, even toward my children..
So without any hesitation I can say, We Left a $0.00 Tip & We Will Never Be Patrons @ This Establishment Ever Again.. As I Would Never Recommend or Refer this Restaurant To Anyone.. It was a Waste of $113.75..!!
