This place is a complete disaster. Iāve had my order messed up three times now, and after todayās experience, I am officially done.
I ordered three toasted bagels. What did I get? A bag of eleven. How do you mess that up so badly? Mistakes happenāsureābut this isnāt just a mistake. Itās a pattern of total incompetence.
But the real issue? The manager. Absolutely vile behavior. When I called to explain the mistake (again), she didnāt apologizeāshe got defensive, rude, and downright nasty. I asked for the owner, whoās usually reasonable, but she wasnāt in. Instead, I got this manager on the phone, and what followed was completely unacceptable.
She tried to blame me for their mistake, told me Iād have to drive 30 minutes back to fix their error, and thenāget thisāstarted swearing at me. Profanity, name-calling, and even threatened to ban me from the deli. As if Iād ever go back after being spoken to like that.
This person has no business managing a lemonade stand, let alone dealing with paying customers. The owner seriously needs to wake up and realize this manager is driving people away with her disgusting attitude and lack of professionalism.
There are dozens of bagel shops aroundādonāt waste your time or money at this one. Unless you enjoy getting the wrong order, being blamed for it, and verbally abused when you speak up. Iāll never step foot in this...

The owner Kate is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I've ever met, and she actually cares about her business and customers. She knows my face, name, and order on sight, and she does with many others as well. This Bagel Shop & Deli has some of the most delicious bagels you can buy, and their breakfast sandwiches have become a staple to probably hundreds of people. Their lunch is amazing, and they are consistently adding and rotating items on the menu, keeping everything fresh. There is an amazing ambiance in here, and it feels very much like NYC.
