The Rooms were spotless, we stayed 6 night but only 3 hangers in the closet and no dresser for our clothes. The food was good, I ordered my first Lobster Roll, I was disappointed because it had that fake fish in it. Yuck, I don't like that. My ex-husband had the veal, that was very good. Paul the owner is real nice, great personality and friendly. The woman who was in charge of the staff was rude to myself and my daughter many times during our stay. I would go back and just not deal with Miriam, the wife heard what was said and to my suprise she never corrected her not to talk to guest in the manner you just did. I think Miriam is good at her job but kind of a schico, it's just her personality. Sad because that is a huge reflection on the establishment. The restaurant was only open Fri, Sat, Sun so we went elsewhere to eat. We did bring drinks back with us, because the bar was also closed during the week. We don't drink and drive and this was a family vacation we haven't had in years. I would have gave it a 5 star but I didn't like how they treated my daughter, she's an educated 31 year old. I said "I am paying for my daughter's room so that's for Two adults and one child" I said it when I spoke to Paul the first time, I said it to the wife, she sounded confused but I again told her Two adults and one child. When I paid for her room I said to Miriam 2 adults 1 child. When my daughter arrived, they gave her a hard time when my daughter said "my boyfriend and son" they kept saying..." your husband right" my daughter kept repeating herself. That's why I just said 2 adults 1 child. They judged her and got real snotty towards her. On my last day I told Paul that the guy I'm with is my ex-husband, we have been divorced for 25 years and are very good friends. Again, nobody's business !! so when I book my room I just said 2 adults, 2 beds, they said your husband. 🙄 I'm not correcting anyone, if they want to assume let them assume. We wanted my daughter to stay another night, they (Karen) said NO! It's all booked up, in a nasty way. My daughter went home and came back the next day, she lives 30 minutes away. It was 4th of july weekend and we don't drink and drive. We had our room and nobody checked into my daughter's room. We think they are very judgmental people. But not so much Paul, he's nice but does whatever his wife tells him to do. So if his wife KAREN says no (nasty) it's no. Also they told me NO PETS ALLOWED, a dog was barking most of the night next door. I would have given them a better rating but it's not deserved..... 3.5 stars

The restaurant is not fancy looking by any means on the outside from the street side. Once you enter inside though it is very modern and clean. The salad bar is free with an entre and all the veggies were extremely fresh with a variety of dressings to chose from: balsamic, ranch, ceasar, french, italian. We chose the french onion and clam chowder soup and both of them were excellent. For the second entre we picked a crab cake dish and seafood linguini dish. We picked mainly seafood because the restaurant supposedly is very well known for that. We didn't regret our choices as both dishes were very tasty. Also, we chose to sit outside on the terrance as the weather was really nice. The restaurant is right on the lake with beautiful mountain views all around. The ambiance was really relaxing and we enjoyed dining there tonight. Oh and did I mention that this place has rooms available so that one can rent it out if needed to stay a night!

I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch...so happy I did!! Was driving around the area checking out the local restaurants trying to decide which one. I will say, this place doesn’t look like much from the street view, but once I pulled into the dockside parking lot around back — WOW!!!! Total hidden gem!! The most amazing lake view I’ve ever seen. I sat on the deck and had a lobster roll and French onion soup. The lobster roll was deliciously delightful, and the French onion soup — best I ever had (and I’m quite particular about French onion soup) Waitstaff were pleasant and accommodating and the ambience of their outdoor seating is like a little slice of Heaven. If you go to Greenwood Lake, put The Breezy on your must do list!!

We really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but instead we were very disappointed, the stars are because the place is nice. At the restaurant's request, we are providing a more detailed and accurate depiction of our recent visit.

We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday evening, around 7 pm, filled with anticipation and eager to indulge in a satisfying dining experience. However, our visit left much to be desired, and regrettably, we cannot rate our experience higher than two stars.

Upon perusing the menu, we opted for a selection of items, hoping to savor the flavors and ambiance promised by the establishment. Our disappointment began with the arrival of the French fries, which, unfortunately, arrived soggy and lacking the crispness we anticipated.

Next, we sampled the onion soup, which, while passable, failed to impress with its lackluster flavor profile. However, the real low point of our meal was the clam chowder, which was erroneously touted as the soup of the day. Not only did it take an exorbitant amount of time to reach our table, but upon arrival, it was served cold, devoid of flavor, and frankly, unappetizing.

Furthermore, our dissatisfaction continued with the buffalo wings, a classic favorite that fell short of expectations. Not only were they drenched in grease, but some were undercooked, rendering them nearly inedible.

While we appreciate the efforts of the staff and the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, the subpar quality of the food greatly detracted from our overall experience. We sincerely hope that our feedback serves as constructive criticism, as we believe in the potential of this establishment to deliver an exceptional...

We (2 of us) went this place on Saturday, August 26th close to 9pm. We sat next to a reserved table of 5 who came in 15-20 minutes later than us. We ordered 3 appetizers- steamed clams, fried calamari and baked oysters. We also ordered the wurst platte as a dinner to share-ALL of which went to the table of 5 before it came to us. At first we joked about the mix up of appetizers and they passed our plates over to us. The calamari was excellent! My date liked the clams but we both were turned off and upset with the baked oysters. The shells were quite large but filled with so much spinach, when we dug out the oyster, it was tiny, less than half the size of the shell it was in. The taste was mundane, we did not finish them. The dinner-wurst platte( 3 sausages on sauerkraut) which was nothing to rave about although I do have to say 2 of the 3 sausages were very good but store bought has the same taste and is cheaper. So we asked the server (the same one who delivered our orders to the order table) box the rest of our calamari and over half of the clams we had left). Twenty minutes later no server but our waiter Dean came and I asked about our food. He had no idea who the server person was. I do have to say that Dean was excellent. He was prompt with our drinks and orders and with everything we asked for, however; the guy who brought out our food was terrible. The food we wanted to take home was long gone, he never brought it back in a box to our table- I'm sure he gave it to some one else as he did each time he brought out our orders. We drove over an hour to the Breezy Point Inn because of recommendations from friends and coworkers. We will not do it again and I do not...
