Been to this establishment more than a few times. I'm someone who eats out often, name a restaurant or taco stand in Middletown I've been there. With that being said, Tacos Nicole it's a very clean place with great clean bathrooms and appearance. However the service it's mediocre,( from the common perspective of food service ). The food. . . Well I have had better food from a food truck. Street tacos are a staple for late nights as one looks for something hot, cheesy and greasy, yet tacos Nicole will serve precooked flank steak and hard shell tacos to what I assume is to cut service time. But for a place that is yet to established a loyal customer base I think that's unnecessary and it shows. When you show up wanting and willing to pay for a hot meal and instead get served cold hard shell tacos that had been sitting there for a long time and dry steak tacos. it's a giving that your heart it's not into delivering "OK" tacos at the very least. I ask the owner about the cold tacos. Her response. . . "That's how we serve them here" so after that the owners daughter came and she couldn't be more apologetic and polite. She suggested taking stuff off the Bill, of course I declined I don't go around looking for a free meal. I'll bring my issue to the owner and pay my bill in full. My last 3 cents here. Tacos Nicole you overhead it's unnecessary. Your mix drinks are great if made by the owner herself the food needs to be made to order. You're selling tacos it takes 3 to 5 minutes to cook flank steak and around the same for hard...

This local gem is everything you want in a taco restaurant — warm, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. The staff treats you like family the moment you walk in, greeting you with smiles and making sure you feel right at home. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, the kind of place where you can relax, laugh, and enjoy incredible food.
The tacos here are perfection. Each one comes piled high with fresh cilantro, crisp onions, and your choice of tender, flavorful fillings. The chorizo is rich, smoky, and just a little spicy — absolutely addictive. The chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, pairing perfectly with the warm, soft tortillas. The plate comes with bright cucumber slices, crunchy radishes, and fresh lime wedges that make every bite pop with flavor.
And don’t even get me started on the drinks — my Michelada was next-level, served in a tall glass rimmed with a bold chili-lime seasoning, tangy and refreshing with just the right amount of kick. It was the perfect pairing to the tacos and made the whole experience feel like a little celebration.
This isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place built on passion, quality, and love for the community. If you want the best tacos, friendliest service, and an atmosphere that leaves you smiling long after you leave, this...
Read moreWe're always looking for good Mexican food in new york and usually we're disappointed. This place was awesome. We got a pastor burrito and a shrimp burrito. The pastor is hands down some of the best I've ever had. The shrimp was good, not the tiny cheap shrimp. All the meat had a nice char flavor to it. The beans in the burrito were good as well. We judge heavily on the beans :-D.
The plating was "cute". We weren't expecting that. The burritos came out nicely plated, with crema and guac on top and sliced in the middle. A little over the top for a taco shop, but I'm sure it looks good on the gram.
We didn't order drinks. We did ask how much they were. 8 bucks for a margarita sounds like a pretty good deal. 7 bucks for a beer was easy to pass on. It would be nice if there was a drink and appetizer menu on the tables.
Our only complaint was the portion size. For 14 to 16 bucks we expected a burrito that filled us up. As good as the beans were I'd be willing to pay a dollar more per burrito to get some more beans and just a little more meat.
That being said, we'll...
