The Parkview Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Westfield

Let me tell you when I say this is a wonderful find! Heading back to Ohio from Niagara falls. We were looking for places to eat on our way home. Well, let me tell you Westfield New York has a gem hiding within their downtown area. Let me start by saying what a quaint little town and the people here are absolutely as friendly as can be. You walk into the small dining area with 10 tables and a few outside seats. The place is packed sitting room only. I recommend you call ahead, give them about an hour or two and reserve your seat if you're traveling through. Don't let the 4.8 Stars deter you. This is a five-star restaurant. Very freshly cooked, very freshly made with everything I seen. Coming out with generous portions and delicious food. Very close to i-90 s. Only a couple minutes off the turnpike. You do have a great view of the park across the street and several shops on the street that you're on. This is a wonderful little find. Glad we decided to stop. The wife got the chicken pot pie which was very delectable. The flavors were there. Let me tell you when I say the creamy sauce inside. This was wonderful. She got a fruit bowl with seasonal fruits, all of which were ripe and flavorful. I've gotten fruit other places where it was not very tasty. I got the tuna fish salad on a bed of lettuce with macaroni salad and fruit bowl. It's going to be a hot day. I opted for cold foods. Everything was delicious. You can't go wrong with this wonderful place....

This place is fabulous! I will be sure to stop every single time I am visiting and when I pass through.

Four friends and myself stopped for breakfast before heading out for winery hopping. We were immediately greeted upon entering the door and treated like we were family. It is such a quaint, clean establishment. The owner is an absolute joy. He was funny, friendly, and consistently checked in on us along with the waitress, who was equally sweet and attentive.

The food was delicious and huge portions. Four of us got the Eggs Neptune, which was an English muffin with enormous crab cakes and poached eggs, coupled with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, the crab cakes were juicy and so flavorful, and the eggs were amazing. The fifth in our group got the shrimp and grits, and she said that it was easily the best grits she’s ever had.

When we walked in we were greeted at the door and sat by one of the owners. He was kind, knowledgeable and very happy to be there. He immediately noticed we probably hadn't been there before and wanted to make our first experience memorable which he accomplished. Their kitchen is willing to cater to food allergies and issues without complaint. They know their food and how to make it safe for everyone.

It is a very quaint, elegant setting. There are 12 tables inside and 2 outside. Their menu is diverse but not overwhelming and well put together. I'm more than happy we made the journey to Westfield on a Saturday to experience The Parkview. I highly recommend you have reservations as I think we simply got lucky with being able to randomly get a table in a Saturday night without reservations.
