The only day worth ordering from here is their 1/2 off large pie day on Tuesdays as their pizzas are wildly overpriced, inconsistent and moderate at best. Our kids enjoy the white broccoli but sometimes the pizzas are under cooked and sometimes they are burnt. Considering there are two similar italian takeout competitors very close nearby in Wilton, I would think D'andreas would be more concerned with having the same consistency as their original location. The delivery drivers are always pleasnt and we tip them well, but I will no longer be giving my patronage to a business where the owner's daughter who runs the joint has terrible professional boundaries. Multiple times she has shared information with other people about us and our orders... Why on Earth anyone would jeopardize their business by running their mouth is beyond me. We were consistent customers every Tuesday for the past 7 months, and my grandparents always got their pizza on Saturdays from this location for the last couple of years! They will also never be returning. It's sad that Tori has cost business for the company and her staff due to her personal issues; especially when we only live 1 mile away and always tipped the drivers $5 every time, so now she is taking money out of their pockets. If you are looking for Italian take out/pizza, order from Pizzatime right around the corner, you won't find $8 fries their...
Read moreIn my 4 years of working at a wood fired pizza place as a head chef I have never, ever heard of a pizza that is literally white underneath and doughy in the middle be called a “cooked” pizza. When I called back about this undercooked pizza the man on the phone replied with bring it in so I did. When I brought it in they tore the pizza up which once again I have never seen before in my life. Fingers all over the whole pizza almost every slice was examined and after he ripped it up he threw it onto the box and says “looks cooked to me”. I payed over $50 for these two pizzas and kids were eating them after the kids ate the pepperoni pieces. Then when we went to eat our pizza and found it was raw. All they gave back was slices of pizza that were sitting out on the display and only one pizza worth. We did not get a refund, no apology, just one pizza worth of three different types of pizza. The garlic knots were burnt and had no garlic at all. Do not...
Read moreIt wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had, but very far from being the best. It was marginally okay at best. The pizza was extremely greasy, and the taste was a bit on the bland side. The pepperoni tastes more like the pepperoni you would find on a Red Baron or other take home and cook yourself pizzas from the market. I feel as if this place would do very well for itself if they were the only pizza place in the areas but it’s in a location where you can metaphorically throw a rock and hit a place that has pizza. Even Cumberland Farmland Stewart’s pizza slices have more flavor. Employees seemed distracted and not interested in the customer. Prices also seemed to be a little steep in comparison to other local places that offer more flavor and quality.
Pros: not the worst in the...
