Patriot Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Townsend

Have ordered from here for years. Tonight I received only one part of my order and no phone call or anything from this establishment that they forgot something, or were making my pizza. I called to let them know probably 20 minutes later that I didn't receive my pizza in my order and I was told "yeah I'll call my driver" and was hung up on. I waited 25 minutes before calling back again, and that individual was very polite and kind, as well as apologetic for my inconvenience, and I let him know that I'd like to be refunded for the pizza because at this point almost 40 minutes later, I did not want it as the person who was here waiting for the pizza had gone home since their pizza never arrived. I left my name and phone number and was told that the owner would give me a call back about the refund. Another 25 minutes goes by, and I receive no phone call and then I'm told when I call back a third time after being passed two other employees before finally getting the owner, that he (the owner) can't refund me...telling me "you have two options"......he'll either come to my house right now and give me cash or I can go there and get cash or he'll put credit on my phone number… Excuse me? One that's a hard no that you will not be coming to my house at 8 PM at this point to refund me, and the fact that I was told that it's impossible for him to go in and refund customers credit card sales is really disappointing in terms of their customer service, especially from the owner. I asked if I was rhe first customer to ask for a refund on the card they paid with because I was having a hard time believing that was the case and was them asked don't I get it? Everyone makes mistakes, and apparently that meant that he could speak to me in the terribly disrespectful manner that he did. It is unfortunate, but there will be no business going their way...

I grew up getting pizza here before they built their own store. The pizza has remained delicious. The new store however is much better. It is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. They even have a pizza pickup drive thru! I am partial to Patriots because it's one of our "go-to" places when we go out with my family. Their menu has expanded from when I was a kid to include a huge variety of dinner plates, pizzas, calzones, subs, wraps, salads, appetizers (Mac and cheese bites are a favorite), and sides. They even have cannolis and baklava available for dessert. I love both options. They also installed a frozen yogurt machine not too long ago. I have yet to try it. If you've got kids who are looking for something to do whole they wait, they have a game of Cornhole set up out in the patio. It's a bean bag toss game. Just ask for the bean bags at the front counter and head outside to toss. It's a great way to pass the time and your food will be ready before you know it. Overall one of the best pizza places...

WE ORDER FROM PATRIOT 'TO GO' OFTEN. THIS FOOD TRAVELS ABOUT AN HOUR TO ITS DESTINATION FOR DINNER. I AM SO IMPRESSED BY THE PACKAGING AND HOW IT IS SEALED. THE TIME THIS STAFF TAKES TO REALLY MAKE SURE THIS FOOD IS HOT AND COOKED EXACTLY THE WAY WE ORDER IT EVERYTIME. IT IS STILL WARM AFTER AN HOUR IN THE CAR AND WE NUKE IT FOR 30 SECONDS AND IT IS FINE. THE MEASURES THEY TAKE TO STAY SANITARY DURING COVID ARE IMPRESSIVE. IT IS THE ONLY TAKE OUT PLACE WE HAVE BEEN SINCE THIS PANDEMIC AND IT IS THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL EAT TAKE OUT PROBABLY FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. WE THANK YOU FOR TAKING SUCH PRECAUTIONS IN YOUR FOOD SERVICE PREP AND PACKAGING TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. NOT TO MENTION YOUR FOOD IS DELICIOUS.
